My FAT LOSS phase has started…⁣ ⁣ Ok time for an update on my progress - I peaked at 2700 calories per day, sustained that for 3 weeks (struggled some days to get that much food in) and now I’ve started the first phase of my fat loss phase.⁣ ⁣ The UNEXPECTED;⁣ ⁣ ✅Eating 2700 calories a day was HARDER than I thought it would be⁣ ✅Some nights I have to eat a CORNETTO, otherwise I’d miss the 2700⁣ ⁣ I’m down to 2200 cals a day right now.⁣ ⁣ Week 1 I lost 1.2KGS⁣ It was a little more than I wanted to lose and monitored it closely in case it was water weight. ⁣ ⁣ Week 2 I have so far lost nothing but… I’m right on schedule for my 1kg weight loss after 2 weeks. ⁣ ⁣ The brain is amazing - during my 2700 calories weeks I struggled to get all the food in. Now that I’m down to 2200, I’m having cravings.. But that’s fine - it’s all part of the process, and I’m focusing on the changes my body is making.⁣ ⁣ There’s really not a lot to report.. It’s early days still. I’m weighing regularly, I’m measuring and taking note of how I’m feeling.⁣ ⁣ I’m heading to the States for a week very shortly - so I’ll be able to share with you guys how that impacts my progress, the way I eat and how I train (spoiler, it will not impact it at all 😂).⁣ ⁣ Looking forward to sharing more with you guys!

For reasons that are personal and for some that aren’t, I am going to cancel my membership to #planetfitness and do home workouts. However, because I have a home gym, I will start incorporating creative moves into my workout so that every person from home can gain muscle, no excuses, no gym membership required! It’s not about using a gym, it’s about how you can get stronger... there were no gyms in the beginning and you can get ripped without one. For people who say it’s not possible, I say to them watch me do it! I will say I am cheating a little because I have a bench and weights, but even for those who can’t afford this, you don’t need dumbbells or barbells to gain muscle, it’s about the weight you use not the machine. I am going to put the weight I used and just remember different things in your home can equal this weight! Be creative 🥰💛 If I can use a suitcase filled with toys and a lawn chair for my workout, then you can use anything. Workout: The two sets are Glute activation exercises my whole workout was 1 hour 40 minutes and I burned 611calories (Glute activation not pictured) 2x20 kickbacks with 5lbs ankle weights 2X15 Elevated Glute bridges with 10lbs 2x15 elevated side hip abductor no weight first set, 5lbs second set 2x15 elevated hip abductors (honestly I would only do these if you want calories, didn’t feel them in my glutes maybe with weight) 2x15 elevated frog pumps with 5lbs 4x10 deadlifts 145lbs 4x6 sumo squats with half rep into one rep which total equal one rep 65lbs 4x12 goodmornings with 65lbs 4x8 hip thrusts with 95lbs Stairs with suitcase up and down five times!! I had told Coach that I could probably do more, so he told me to shoot for 16. I was supposed to meet up with my RunBro early this morning but a family issue pulled him out from running. So I headed out to meet the club group run fully expecting to be doing miles alone. The Run gods had other plans. A runner I typically don’t run with ran with me for 10 miles today crossing bridges twice. A bridge holds significance for me. A transition from what was to what is. Early in my running I ran solo. I never understood the importance of running with others. Now, however, my perspective has changed and I know that much of what I accomplish in this predicated on my relationships with others. No matter how many miles they run with you, the energy they provide lifts you over mental and physical obstacles allowing you to take in the view of your accomplishment. That’s the power of a RunBro. I have been working a lot on having a positive mindset. I’m getting better. ⁣ The funny thing about the power of positivity - even when the situation is a bit annoying you can figure out most, if not all of the good. And trust... the beginning of the toddler years makes this need more evident. ⁣ ———⁣ ⁣ Jolie slept until 7:45 on Saturday morning. 7:45!!! In 21 months that’s never happened. Obviously this toddler unpredictability keeps us on our toes! 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⁣ ⁣ That would have represented such a nice sleep in... had I known that would happen. ⁣ Instead, I was up early ⏰ and already working out 💪 before she got up. ⁣ ⁣ It forced me to make a choice about my attitude. Though a bit annoyed for popping out of bed totally prematurely, when my bed was sooo cozy and I’ve been sick all week, I embraced getting to workout without navigating a copying toddler 😂, extra time with the fam later and enjoyed a 💤 in the afternoon to make up for it. ⁣ ⁣ I fully trust you can have it all - just not all at once. Exhale. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣

I didn’t think to take any precautionary steps yesterday due to be sore all over after the race 🤷🏼‍♀️ • However now it’s time to be safe and not sorry. With my next race over a month away - 6 week away to be exact - we have a little time to take it slow and help avoid the injury. • What a perfect day for work and football 🏈Add in a pinch of laundry, and some late night meal prepping after resting all day - You got the perfect recipe for a relaxing and productive day ✔️

Real truth: you don’t need to read this. I’m not posting this for you to read this. I’m posting this cause I need to express myself and all my journals are being used for study notes #bcbastudy ⁣ ⁣ I started this account for attention (I’m very attention maintained). I thought I would get motivation to make those amazing 12-week transformations and would have 1M followers, become an influencer, and be living the life. WELLL guess what I’m not any of that. ⁣ ⁣ Because I went in with that mindset nothing stuck. I couldn’t finish 12 week challenges, I doctored photos to look my best, and had potty parties for not looking like girls I followed. Then I decided to make a change for myself and worked with the amazing @jackofallfitness (If you need a personal trainer check him out he’s the best) He helped me so much with developing workout habits that were healthy because they were building me up and making me stronger in ways I didn’t know possible. ⁣ But lurking in background was a girl who was still self-conscience, who still thrives off attention from others, and who just wasn’t happy. I went through flows of up and down happiness and even battled death at one point (spoiler: I won). ⁣ ⁣ Finally the darkness in the background consumed me and I was unhappy though my smile never gave me away. I engaged in fake self care, I got myself into various holes I’m still struggling to come out of, and I knew this had to stop! So I stopped using Instagram as much, I stopped always saying I was fine, and I’ve made goals for myself. ⁣ ⁣ Join me as I figure out how to actually take care of myself, how to live a healthy lifestyle while still maintaining my happiness, and how to be transparent and real.

Having a productive and positive morning routine is so important! 🌅 So this upcoming week my goal is to start creating a morning routine that works for me and will give me a great start to my days. Before I would get up and then scroll through social media while smoking and drinking coffee. Not a very uplifting morning routine! 🙄 Now that I quit smoking I have more “time” in the morning. Time to do things in the morning that will make me grow as a person. I’ve written down some ideas of what I would like to do in the morning. Meditation, writing, gratitude, healthy breakfast, get myself ready (even if I might not have a place to go), morning walk, reading, get my hardest task out of the way as early as possible, podcast, music that makes me happy, no social media/phone when I first get up ++ Going to try and test out things until I find what works for me. People think I’m crazy when I say my ultimate morning goal is to start my day at 5 AM, but I love getting my day started early! I wasn’t able to run today or walk very fast today due to a sore ankle, BUT I didn’t use it as an excuse to not get out and go. I took some time to enjoy the scenery and walk trails I haven’t before.
