No creative caption. Just that it’s been a little hectic here, and of course I needed to switch furniture around in the middle of the holiday madness. I find that rearranging furniture helps me mentally. Moving furniture pieces helps me figure things out. How are you all doing?
Merida, Mexico. After a month here I’m really going to miss all the colorful houses in our neighborhood, including this one a few doors down from the house we’re renting. I just love the lavender color and all those yummy smelling plumeria flowers. 💜
every month i perform this ritual which sends my lifeblood to hell, granting me access to this world for another 28-30 days. IF I FAIL to perform said ritual, my body disintegrates into the void, which absolutely cannot happen again
Everything’s on fire. It’s fine.

💛 We all need some happiness, peace, and love. .
🧡 Try to find one thing that makes you happy every single day. It can be the smallest of things. For me its looking at the sky. For some reason it makes me happy to observe the sky and look for hidden stars. .
💗 Try to find your peaceful spot at home or at the library or at the park. Nothing beats your peaceful happy place. The goal is to be at peace in life but since that takes time try to find little spots that make you feel at peace. .
💛 You don’t need to be in a relationship or married to feel loved. Find love within yourself and do the things that YOU want to do. Loving yourself and putting yourself first is always a good sign that you are learning to love yourself. And of course, if you have a great support system like friends, family, wife or husband thats the cherry on top! For me I have been doing things that make me the happiest and putting myself first. I am also oh so grateful to have a great support system with friends that love and care about me. .
💛 Which one of these would you put in your tea? Which one is the one that you need most of at the moment? For me its definitely peace! .

Link en bio para recibirlas :) 💌 If you happen to bump into this post and don’t have a clue about what I’m talking about, there’s a link in my bio to subscribe to the online letters I share online once a month.
Starting to feel festive 🎄 the first of 3 Christmas meals celebrated this week, Christmas cards posted, a record number of mince pies consumed... its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas 💫
I've been knee deep in client work recently & I can't wait to share my current projects with you!! I'm so grateful for all of the incredible women I've been getting to work with this year & it feels super surreal! I'm still trying to find those pockets of time to chip away at personal pieces though cause our brains need those play breaks every now & then✨
SISTERS | This is sisters @deedeekinger and @nikikinger. In 2013, they won joint first prize in a Guinness drinking contest where they both drank 14 pints of the black stuff each. The record is yet to be broken but they return annually to defend their title. #girlswhocan#guinness
I got interviewed by @voyagelamag 👋🏽 If you got 9 hours spare, you should read it. LINK IN BIO (I’ve always wanted to say this🤩Again: link in bio, lololo). Thank you to the wonderful @overthesunnyside for giving me this opportunity!💛🐣
Some little character explorations 👩🏻🦰 I’m working on my facial expressions at the mo. What exercises do you use to practice your craft? I’d love to know. The next few months I have some big meaty projects, and the rest of the time I want to challenge myself with parts of drawing I struggle with. Would love to know how you practice 🤓
The octopus is finiiished! Woohoo!! Really happy with how this piece turned out😊
Part 2 of the chapel in Mayfair. As you can tell, I never use a ruler - so my straight lines can be quite wobbly. I like to think it makes it more lively... #nellsoriginals
BDAY bouquet 💐 ✨ After a few days off and some delicious rest and play, I'm feeling the best I have since the days got shorter and darker. I'm at my best in a routine, and I'm *finally* starting to realize that needs to look different this season: gentler mornings, prioritizing movement, nights working near a colorful tree and lit candles. Have you been adjusting this season? Would be grateful for any of your tips! 🙌🏽🧡 PS: thank you so much for the sweet birthday wishes last week. Love to you on these cold days! 🥰
Part 1 of a lemon yellow chapel in Mayfair (I'd be lying if I said this was a commission - again, this was where we were married 10 days ago). I love architectural sketches - they’re such fun to work on, and require so much focus. #nellsoriginals
Kicking off my return to civilisation (after a dreamy few weeks!) are some of my illustrated place cards I made. Being an illustrator who works so often on other people's weddings it was SO much fun doing my own! And I really went to town. I've had a few enquiries for people who want these at their own weddings / events - so do get in touch if you're interested. It's great fun for me, and a lovely personal touch for your guests. #nellsoriginals
