In its simplest terms, executive presence is about your ability to inspire confidence — inspiring confidence in your peers that you’re the leader they want to follow, inspiring confidence among them and that you’re capable and reliable and, most importantly, inspiring confidence among senior leaders that you have the potential for great achievements.💓
There’s a saying in leadership, “All the important decisions about you will be made when you’re not in the room.” It’s true!!! Whether it’s a decision about an important opportunity, a promotion to a critical role or an assignment to a high-visibility project, you won’t be in the room. 🙈🙊🙉
The opportunities you gain access to depend on the confidence you’ve inspired in the decision makers. And, the more significant the opportunity, the more important executive presence becomes.📶
Here are seven quick tips on achieving your Executive Presence!!
1. Have a vision, and articulate it well.✍🏼
2. Understand how others experience you.👫
3. Build your communication skills.🗣
4. Become an excellent listener.👂🏼
5. Cultivate your network and build political savvy.🌐
6. Learn to operate effectively under stress‼️
7. Make sure your appearance isn’t a distraction🦹🏼♀️
Welcome to 2019 where you can have tattoos and still get hired!! #yaaaas
In May 2019, my life changed for the better. I got tired of self healing myself and burying my problems. I was a hoarder, I allowed dysfunction to boil so bad on the insides of me. My perception was so off track because I moved and was motivated for 24 years out of anger. I was competing and comparing myself to people because I was filled with hate and toxcity. My first session at therapy was horrible, but little did I know God had already prepared me for the day that I would truly start releasing and healing properly. The space I’m in didn’t come overnight and it’s been hard work but I tell you this I never been so happy in my life. Walking without all the weight on my back allows me to be more and more of the woman that God created me to be❤️💕
I pray over the woman or man that’s reading this and is in the process of receiving therapy or considering it. I pray that God continue to heal you and protect you during your process of becoming a better you. Protect you from the devil that has his own raggedy agenda, protect you from the inner you that still try to live that he’s surely killing off and protect you from people that don’t want to see you truly heal in Jesus name
You will be healed from your childhood hurt, parent hurt, depression, anxiety, insecurities, low self-esteem, fear, mental illness, that abusive relationship etc.
The enemy seed that he planted has been uprooted and it will not live and have control over your life
Continue to fight and walk in your purpose

Today is a day dedicated to planning out 7 days of social media posts. I know I need a whole dang day lol! 🙃
(I was about to put 30, but I would have been lying to myself! I’m starting with 7!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been so focused this morning, in my little office/sanctuary, pairing images with captions (thx #socialcurator), writing a few blogs posts, and creating ads.
(Shoutout to my 🤵🏾 hubs @tariankmarks who’s always agreed I needed a space to call my own - he gets the man cave, I get my sanctuary)
What’s got you focused today? 👀
Posted @withrepost • @shivahippely Stand up. Speak up. Stay strong. I remember I made a goal for myself a year ago that I would stop saying “I’m sorry” all the time unless I was genuinely sorry. As women we sometimes think we are to blame for all the mistakes or problems. But that’s not true. We should never apologize for having a different opinion, for standing up for what we believe in and for expecting gender equality in this world
So if I’m expecting an open environment where people can feel comfortable, I thought you all may want to know the girl behind these posts. Sooo basically...... I’m a twenty-five year old woman who loves nothing more than music, shopping, getting dressed up, partying but also sitting at home with my dog, flicking through social media and watching everything from rom-coms to serial killer documentaries. My hobbies are trying new things and travelling, my actual dream in life is to travel the world! Right now I’m really struggling with life. I’m in a job that I hate but feel trapped in, I’ve fallen out with my closest friends due to life differences (that story will be posted in the near future), my family has been hit with more drama than an episode of Jeremy Kyle and my entire love life is a mess! Again, that’s another story to come! The struggles I’m facing are all basic life struggles that most will deal with during a life time but all mine have hit me at once and I’m finding it really hard to deal with. This is why I’m hoping someone will read these posts and think ‘wow, I’ve been in that boat before, here is some advice’ or simply drop me a DM to say ‘hey, I’m in the same boat, I don’t know what to do either’ and we can just get things off our chests. I’m in no way planning on being the next blogger of the year, just want to help other women not feel so alone in whatever it may be weighing down on them. Hello to anyone who may come across this new page and take the time to read!.. Although it is 2019, I feel that it is still hard to discuss certain aspects of life such as love, sex and relationships without being judged or feeling wrong for having certain feelings or opinions, especially as a woman. Therefore, I have started this page to publicly vent, not only clear my mind but to hopefully not feel alone, to make others not feel alone in how they may be feeling and as a place where people can also vent or seek advice from other women (depending on how well this account takes off!). You can either take a read of my posts or if you would like to, send me your thoughts and I can post them anonymously to my page for others to read and offer advice. You can even just DM for a chat to let off steam! I want this account to be a fully non-judgemental, friendly page that all women can come to when feeling the need to chat or just take their mind off of general day to day life. Here we can discuss absolutely anything and everything! I’ll be posting my first moan soon. Much love, G x #women#girls#guidance#selfhelp#life#love#sex#relationships#fun#help#vent#womenhelpingwomen#womenempowerment#womeninspiringwomen#womensupportingwomen
It comes as • NO • surprise that my #be💯 clients are crushing their #morningmeltdown goals! The group is filled with motivation, accountability and virtual high-fives! 👏🏻 We did a Day 20 check-in this morning and the results are 👌🏼. The latest feedback was from a challenger who has lost 2️⃣ pounds this week. Just.this.week! ‼️We are starting the next phase of the program tomorrow — so, sending out a few handwritten cards and goodies! Gift giving is my love language 😉 and forever grateful the coaching opportunity has given me an outlet (and finances) to fulfill that love. #beautymeetsbeast#BMBproject

I was that teenager at @ww (Weight Watchers). I went to my first meeting at 15 years old. I asked to go. I weighed 160 lbs and wore a size 10. I was taking advanced ballet class 4 days a week. Do you think I learned healthy habits from those meetings? You think I learned to appreciate what my body is capable of? Do you think I learned health transcends size? Nope. I'm not saying those conversations weren't being had there. If/when they were they were drowned out by talks of using food as punishment and reward. As an impressionable, young woman, what I learned was that food was bad, bodies were never good enough, and that success is only measured by a number on a scale or a tag. It's a battle I continued to fight for many years. I turned my parents into the Food Police. I felt like a failure.
You may have seen the chatter about the new Weight Watchers app for kids @kurbohealth . I'm sick over it. SICK. I am not sick over teaching our children to take care of themselves, emotionally and physically. I am not sick over encouraging our children to move their bodies. I am not sick over teaching children to celebrate their accomplishments. But I am sick and tired of the constant messaging that slim bodies are the only good bodies. Sick over "red light/green light" foods. That someone the number on the scale indicates your entire health history. That disordered eating is the way nutrition is being taught to our children. That it is encouraging our children to scrutinize their bodies. The very perfect bodies that we created, grew, and nourished. Did you know that the likelihood of a child developing an eating disorder is far more likely than a child developing diabetes or any of the other things they use to scare us? I plead with you to remind the people around you and your children how amazing, beautiful, and capable their bodies are. Tell them today and tell them everyday. We can break the cycle.

Amen sorelle (e fratelli)
