Never ever did I think, I’d ever coach or lead so many people to their goals. Molly, you’re absolutely amazing! This wasn’t even planned prior to a few weeks ago and look at the result. I’m speechless.. Thank you for your limitless trust and support of my vision. Count it! Now go celebrate, take a few days off and let’s see what’s next. Repost: A year ago if you asked me if I’d ever compete in any kind of bench competition I would have looked at you like you had a million heads. Bench is my weakest lift and last year I could barely do the bar, my form was all over the place. Two weeks ago I decided I was just gonna go for the Summer Lift-A-Thon because no pressure. With a lot of help from @missk72283 and Darien there pushing me everyday, I did pretty well for myself. A big thank you to Krystyn for always helping me be better. And a big thank you to Darien for always supporting me.
This has been one of the many highlights of my client progressions since I’ve become a trainer.. She has NOT run or jogged in at least 2 decades.. YES you’ve read that correctly.. you may say that’s nothing but, it’s a huge victory... When Mare came to me this year, we had balance issues, lack of coordination, and lots of lack of mobility.. EVERYTHING has improved as you can see.. and she’s now attacking her nutrition and making better choices.. She’s doing more outdoor activities and kicked her TV to the curb for the most part.. What you may say isn’t possible.. I say with my faith.. any and everything is!

P.S. I didn’t tell her to run, I stepped outside and saw this.. she has no idea I recorded it.. Hate to say it, but only so many weeks left of good weather... we know that studies show that most ppl gain majority of excess weight in the summer time.. But why wait til it gets cold? Then your next excuse will be, well I’ll wait til after Thanksgiving, or Christmas.. better yet my New Years resolution 🙄 People, either you want it or you don’t... nothing changes about the yearly holidays at all... I’ll say it again and again... you can lead a horse to water...y’all know the rest... I can train you all day, I can coach your nutrition til it’s embedded into your brain BUT if you don’t do the homework, dedicate and commit don’t waste your money... I want to help EVERYONE, but not at the expense of you not getting results.. There are trainers who will train you, let you spend countless amount of money and won’t care if you get from point A to B.. not their fault entirely, it takes two to tango. Picking a trainer is much more than just what types of workouts they do, it’s a relationship, it’s chemistry, communication, and support.. All I’m saying is, when you take the plunge to change and better your temple.... tell your loved ones to support you without trying to hinder your change, you need encouragement, but you have to do the rest!! It isn’t their fault if you don’t make it to the finish line.. you can do this but set goals, commit and smash the hell out of them.. cheers 🥂

Monday motivation: I work with this amazing couple (separately for individual goals) Rick and Mary Ellen... Awesome people! Rick is a survivor, also has a defibrillator and still pushes his hardest every single day... runs 5k’s, weight lifts, working on eating cleaner...what’s his reason? A better quality of life... Mary Ellen is in the health care field and wants to extend it by being in the best health possible not only so she can continue helping others, but for herself and her family... My point is, everyone’s goals are different that come to me.. Some would like to feel better, lose weight, get stronger, eat cleaner, prevent hereditary health issues, weddings, sports etc. You name it.. What’s your excuse? We are an instant gratification society...we expect results and everything instantaneous... It doesn’t work that way..hard work, dedication, commitment and less complaining is the only way to get it done... forget summer is coming... life is happening! Health is a scary thing these days, because it has no age discrimination... you get one body! It’s up to you to take care of it..
Weekly kick in the arse... everything you go through in life is based off of your reaction... The way we react to certain situations either prolongs the outcome or is a quick lesson.. As I get older, I notice certain things that would’ve caused me to react a certain way a year or even a few months ago, don’t create a twitch of a nerve now. You’ve gotta go through things sometimes, it may suck or be unfair.. I used to want certain things, and now my life is simple.. I pray for peace of mind, clarity, wisdom and remain humble.. I don’t even sweat the small stuff.. What/who I can’t control, I leave up to God..
