Get out of your way.
I declared at the beginning of the year that this would be a year of freedom.
A few weeks ago I was asked (in response to my “freedom” bracelet) what exactly I am seeking freedom from. It took me a moment to compose an answer but when it came down to it, it was very simple.
I need freedom from my own doubts, from my fears, from my insecurities. I get in my own way more than any other obstacle. If I could just for a second belief in myself, believe in my dreams, believe in my worth —my whole freaking life will change.
6 months in and everyday I wake up, silence my own negativity, get out of my own way —and do something amazing.
You are deserving of the life you dream about. You are capable of creating it. Just get out of your own way.
REAL TALK 🗣••
Today’s workout did NOT go as planned. Like...at all. My right shin has been bothering me all day but I said effff it and went ahead with leg day. Barely got through half when I just had to stop. I stood there for a second before deciding to get on the bike. My shin doesn’t hurt when Im on there. Ended up doing 30 mins. So okay...it didnt go how I wanted but I still didn’t just throw in the towel. Believe me...I wanted to. But Im also stubborn 🤷🏼♀️♉️ I plan on throwing in some wall sits to tomorrows workout to make up for it. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 #myweightlossjourney#fitsporation#mobiletrainer#unstoppable#weovercome#keepgoing#believethat

Just in case anyone was wondering what I currently look like...I don’t post many selfies on here because I don’t need outside validation on my looks but since my last post was about when people call people ugly. I’m 4’10 1/2” with green eyes and 150 lbs at 45 yrs old. I’m curvy. I also have severe scoliosis (3 curves). I make due with what I’ve got and I am trying to lose a little weight because of my back. Not for looks or approval from others. I’m learning through previous harsh negative judgments from others, how to love myself more because like I said in my previous post, I’m the only one who has to live with myself 24/7. Might as well learn to love all of me, even my looks. I think I’m pretty so that’s all that matters. I deleted my previous ugly face selfies art project photos because I don’t want people to think I define myself based on other people’s opinions of me if they believe I am ugly. My life is always a healing journey every single day. Let the haters hate.
So call me ugly all you want. Unfollow me all you want when I post a selfie. It won’t change how I feel about myself. No one has that kind of power over my self worth anymore even if I get unfollowed til I have no followers. Even if anyone tells me I’m ugly now. Even if I get the ew face from others. I’m still going to think I’m pretty despite what others say about me. See what I’m doing here? Knocking out the negative energy. Reclaiming my own energy and confidence. I don’t need people in my life who think I’m ugly anyhow. #unstoppable
