It's been a while since my last trip to Paris. I was able to get to all the museums for free, since I was a student. Missed the Louvre though. It was such a nice trip! Have you been to Paris? Which places would you recommend to visit?🖤

Which are the main airports in Cyprus and what are the airport transfer options? 🇨🇾🚕🚌 There are two official airports in Cyprus located in Larnaca and in Paphos. There is one airport in Nicosia but it is on the northern side and it is not recognized. I won't recommend to use it for entering Cyprus to avoid any problems.
From Larnaca airport, you can get a shuttle bus to any major city of Cyprus. @kapnosairportshuttle will take you from Larnaca to Nicosia, Protaras, Ayia Napa.If you want to go to Limassol, you can use Limassol Airport Express buses. 🚌
The ticket price is around 8-9 Eur, children get half price.
From Paphos the ticket will cost 15 Eur for Nicosia and Larnaca by Kapnos. Again, you can use Limassol Airport express bus for getting to Limassol.
Using a bus is the cheapest option. Taxis are expensive in Cyprus and make sense only if you are sharing it.
Another option to consider is Travel express. It is a mini bus providing shared taxi service but you need to check the timetable and order it in advance. They are slightly cheaper than usual taxis but the last pick up is around 5PM.⏱️ You can always rent a car if you are ready to drive on a left-hand side of the road :) #cyprusblog#traveljournal#traveltips#cyprusairport#kapnos#shhuttlebus#airporttransfer#visitcyprus#lusctlytravels#traveldiary#aboutcyprus#islandcyprus@triptipedia

One time I was bored, it was too warm then and I am not really in a mood togo anywhere. So I decided to walk around the area where my parents live and watch the tricycles parked. Then I decided to sketch these while drivers are taking their lunch break in the so called carinderia ( canteen )
When people like our posts, we feel good about it. And all of a sudden the pressure of having likes. Some of us are ruining our life because of the pressure of likes. We post things we shouldn't be posting, we get too risky and we’re trying to get people to like. What happens is we’re trying to get people to approve of our life and our gravity is pulling us back to this earth. I believe God is saying “we were made for more than this.” We were made to not wonder if others liked it, but rather be conscious if He liked it. .
While Instagram and Facebook is a huge part of my life, how sad would it be if I centered my self esteem & overall self worth around the likes. While my brain likes the likes, I know it’s so insignificant in the grand scheme of things. I think we all need to be reminded of it if it’s become an issue. .
Let’s think about what we should be finding more valuable than likes. ❤️🙌🏻👍
People are surprised when we tell them that we travel full-time, without a flat or base to go back to. To travel the world had always been a dream of ours and yet, dreaming about it did not prepare us for the challenges that go along with it.
As we're changing environments, almost on a daily basis, we need to adapt and learn how to live, interact, thrive, communicate, move and work regardless of our location and its culture. We have to truly embrace any given country as our temporary home. It urges us to build up stamina and resilience, particularly for travelling in countries whose culture differs so much from our own.
Our relationships suffer. Due to time differences, distraction & the busyness of daily life it becomes difficult at times to keep in touch with our loved ones. Sometimes, I blame myself for not being home, for missing out and not being there for major life events that happen in the lives of my family and friends.
It is hard to build a routine. Every day is different. Sometimes our lives changes a little, sometimes it changes a lot. It is exciting, most of the time, and yet, sometimes we feel overwhelmed by what is happening to and around us. Sometimes, we have difficulties recalling what happened 3 months ago since so much is happening every single week (sometimes I wonder how we'll ever be able to write a book about this crazy journey 🙈).
There is no room for luxury in 2 tightly packed backpacks. We've come to embrace a minimalistic lifestyle that taught us to be content with wearing the same thing basically every day. Yet, I truly enjoy occasions such as attending Indian weddings, where I get to trade my daily travel clothes for a fancy saree 😅.
Japan Reiki Adventure Day 4:
🦶Tried the super hot and steamy public foot bath while waiting for our train at Atami Station
🗻Got to see a clear view of Mt. Fuji from the train windows
⛩Arrived in Nara and headed straight to the UNESCO World Heritage Temple sites
🏯Saw the five story pagoda that has survived multiple fires
🦌Saw many many domesticated deer in Nara Park interacting with tourists who give them food
📿Saw the Giant Buddha and had a surprisingly emotional experience even in spite of all the tourism and rowdy school kids, so I shared more blessings and prayers from that space of connection to something larger and more powerful having an impact
🥘Tried a fantastic Okonomiyaki Japanese BBQ omelette covered in fish flakes that move as steam rises
👨👩👧👦 Left a reiki group photo Polaroid on the wall of the Takomi shop in Nara
🍢Wandered Nara streets and alleys under the full moon, looking for Japanese sweets
