Here I'm releasing the soleus, a muscle that sits just under the big calf heads.
If you're a runner or spend alot of time on your feet this muscle can easily get overworked, tight and set you up for injury.
There are a few options for solving this problem⬇️ 1. Hire a good massage therapist who understands trigger point release.
2. Release the soleus muscle yourself using a therapy ball, watch the back half of the video to see the live demo👌 (word of warning ❌ releasing the soleus is painful be ready to have your game face on!). Once the soleus muscle is released you'll have better ankle flexibilty, more supple calves and a extra spring in your step.✅✅✅
Fellow #polers and #aerialists who aren't naturally #shredded 😅 you ever feel like you can't see your #muscle definition, and then you randomly catch a glimpse of yourself in a kitchen window or something and you're like "oh yeah, there it is, sorta!"
Whatever. I'll take it!
I used to care about how my body looked a lot. I won't lie and say I don't anymore, but, that feeling is FAR outweighed now by the feelings of knowing what my body is capable of. I'm strong AF. I'll carry your boyfriend for you when he's too drunk and you can't deal. I'll help you move big items around. I'll hold 4 smaller girls on my arms and legs as I spin around the Pole holding on with my thighs 😅
I'm good with that ❤ that is something simply being thinner/more fit can't guarantee 💪❤
👽Entoces, ¿tú eres malo?
No le temo a na'
Eh, qué fue, ¿que diste un palo?
¿Y esa curiosidad?
