Tomorrow we’ll make our way to Portugal for the Bold & Balanced Retreat! 🇵🇹 🤸🏻♂️☀️ My dearest teacher & friend @_kelly_mason_ and I are ready to take our yogis on an adventure, guiding them through yin and yang yoga sequences and activities. Later today - when everything is printed, prepared and packed - I will sit with it and enjoy the craziness. So what is my life purpose?
I discovered my life purpose when I was on my Eat Love Pray adventure in Bali.
I was looking over the rice fields of Bali, I had a pen and notebook in my hand and I was writing down all the things I loved doing.
I said to myself ”Jose what lights you up, what gives you joy, what truly makes your heart sing”
At this point, I discovered my life purpose and vision for my future life.
I always knew I was here to make a difference in people's life and I truly believe it's my life purpose to inspire and empower people to live a happy and successful life”

I am doing a 5 day ig challenge, I decided to take it on the challenge. Day 1 it was all about introducing ourselves and why we started this business. It really took me back to the painful memory of me falling on the ground because my back was out and having to crawl back to bed. That was the day I decided it was time for a change and I have been going ever since. My life has changed so much just from deciding to take control of my health. Having that reminder today really helped me push in my workout today, I gave it all I had and let me tell you my arms are on fire!! 🔥😜 Thank you to those who watched my stories today, can't wait to chat with ya tomorrow. I’ve noticed that we either:
🅰️ Answer something very safe because our ideas of what we can have are LIMITED
🅱️ Struggle to articulate what we want because we rarely allow ourselves to IMAGINE what’s possible

Just a few hours apart. Could and could not. My foot could barely leave the ground in the 2nd pic. Nick thought I was messing with him, because I would do something crazy like that for 30 minutes 😂, but it was like my foot was a magnet to the earth. 🤷🏼♀️ Fear? Yup. Doubt? Yup. Yup.
Not feeling capable physically? Um yup.
Spoiler alert...none of these things ⬆️ were just about this pose.
That’s how it works, shit comes up and then you’re aware of it and you can move to fight through it, for yourself instead of against yourself.
Our bodies are different every day, sometimes every hour. Accept it and move on try again tomorrow.
Easier said than done. But try.
The work, the challenges, the literal tears on the ground in your backyard by the fire saying “what if I can’t do this?!???” But what if you can?
It’s never just about the poses.
I’ve been really on top of my workouts, I love to move my body and to sweat, it’s therapeutic for me.
Now my nutrition on the other hand ... 🤷🏽♀️ I’m really enjoying all the food. I’m trying to reign it in, but I have a serious relationship with food. I love it ... a lot.
Sometimes I’m so good, and then sometimes I’m so bad, and it’s really hard to get back on the wagon when the wheels have fallen off rite????

On a day like today...one needed a workout like that!! When I finally sat down after getting home...the LAST thing I wanted to do was get back up and move...but...I DID! And I am WHOOPED!! Night ya'll🙋♀️
1. Fear of the future, the unknown, uncertainty
2. Physiological response to future uncertainties and worries based on the past or imagined scenarios
3. Fear of not knowing fill in the blank
4. Having too many uncontrolled items, cycles or loops
Fear, not knowing, future, no control — key phrases
1. Concentrate your mental energy on the present
2. Become self-aware about where your mind is (future focused or present?) 3. Check in with yourself to notice over-thinking or being in your head too much
4. Actively close any and all cycles and loops as quickly as you can (ask me more)
5. Breathe, both for presence and also DEEP breathing to flood your body and brain with oxygen
6. Notice the feeling of anxiety within you and trace it back to an event or situation. It’s like a string connected to a very particular thing. Have a look
7. Figure out which situations you have control over and actively manage, control or do actions around that. For the situations you do not have control over, come to peace with that.
I have healed from moderate to severe anxiety including panic attacks. And I’ve helped others. Reach out for support.

Nine times out of ten I can push through my excuses and push play when that alarm goes off in the morning. So when the one day happens where I can't, I give myself grace.
Today was that day. I pushed back that alarm 3x! Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and give yourself a break.
That doesn't mean though, that you let everything else lapse too, so I packed up my salad and blended up my my superfoods, and listened to s some good training on my way into work.
Taking care of yourself is a one man job and no one else is going to do it for you.

This was Day 1 of the rest of my life. After a long 5.5 hour drive and lots of time to think, I walked into an arena and was poured into by @kindrahall, @timtebow, @thelesbrown and @johncmaxwell. What I learned was to just be me and share my story with others. I learned that age is just a number and if you have a passion of changing others lives, you keep showing up and inspiring others. 2 years ago, I had thought of my retirement... in like 30 years. Now, I know I’ll never retire. I absolutely LOVE what I am doing and I work on my schedule. Not full-time, not part-time but MY TIME. #IGNITE the fire within you, make the #DECISION to live your best life and #DREAMBIGGER. It's super fun (Workouts that are max 30 minutes definitely help!) And even 50 days in, I'm not bored. It feels like it's flown by. I mean, sure, there are days when I curse at the trainer in my videos but it's only because she's encouraging me to do my best and sometimes I'm tired and don't want to. #thisisreallife#idoitanyway
This is not about being skinny. It's about proving to myself that I can do it. It's making a commitment to myself and keeping my promise. It's getting healthier, stronger, more flexible, and better at cardio (Please, God, let me get better at cardio.🙏)

I DON’T WANT TO GIVE UP... When we need to make big changes in our lives we often focus on what we have to give up instead of what we have to gain.
I hear this a lot when women come to me wanting to make changes in their nutrition and fitness.
I hear things like I don’t want to give up my soda, chips, sweets, wine, convenience foods, etc... or girls night, bbq’s, vacations, eating out etc... First of all, you don’t have to give these things up when you utilize the FASTer Way To Fat Loss approach you just have to approach them differently.
Secondly, make the shift. Stop focusing on what you think you have to give up and instead focus on all that you have to gain.
More energy, health, positive mood, better sleep, confidence, joy, healthier relationships, control when it comes to food, being able to keep up with my kids etc... If you must focus on what you have to give up than tell yourself you’ll be giving up irritability, tight clothes, excuses, medication, exhaustion, being sick, aches and pains, acne, bloat, digestive issues, being self conscious, depression, anxiety, etc...

Weigh In Day! This week I’m down 1.2 lbs for a total of 7.4lbs. I’m about to complete 50 workouts so I’ll be halfway through the program and will have some comparison pictures with my start of this. This week was great! I got down into the 150’s for the first time in a year, so that makes me happy! I haven’t been tracking all my food, so I’m definitely getting better at this portion control. Here’s to next week!
