There will always be memories that I keep for myself. I hide them beneath the floorboards of my heart in silk-lined wooden boxes filled with wild roses and lavender. Here they are safe, and their beauty cannot be tainted.
paris was truly as magical as it appears in this photo. -
HI! so I went to europe for almost 2 weeks and it was absolutely amazing. seeing so many amazing works of art + architecture. getting out of my daily routine. discovering new inspiration + ideas. I truly needed this trip + I’m really proud of myself for going for it. -
I’m a planner, and don’t get me wrong I still obsessively planned every detail of this trip, but in like a month. that’s some last minute spontaneity if you ask me. which is not necessarily on brand for me. but I think it was good for me.
experiencing new cultures and places is something that will forever enthrall me, and I can’t wait to see so many more amazing places this world has to offer🌎
so if you want to see more photos from my trip, head to @amanda_miller1 because we took TONS🖤
I promise you that this isn’t the Adams Family home but it sure looks it! This mansion was abandoned for 20+ years and in 1990 they restored it into the Magnolia Plantation Bed & Breakfast.
The perspective matters! - Do you know that even the smallest of stones , when you hold it too close to your eyes , appear like a huge mountain. Just like how our problems appear too big when we analyse it too much , keeping it too close to your heart... Zooming out is important , to get a better perspective. The higher we go , the smaller things appear. The farther you go , the better you get , to notice the whole picture. After all we are nothing but the speck of a speck , when we compare ourselves to the magnanimity of this universe and the universes unknown. All we can do is to try and be one , with all the joy around!

For days when delhi is unbearably hot, unnecessarily aggressive and a little too loud, why can't I mess a little with time.

The Gamble Plantation is the oldest building in Manatee County and the only remaining antebellum plantation house in South Florida. It was the home of Major Robert Gamble and the headquarters of an extensive sugar plantation. At its peak, the plantation included 3,500 acres, and held more than 200 slaves to work the property and process the sugarcane. The mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 12, 1970.
Totally psyched to be part of this exec program @harvardhbs ! Making the most of this opportunity even though I miss my little one a lot. Surely will be bringing home my A game to make up for this time!

In the past 8 months I have relocated, lock stock and barrel, 4 times! Began from scratch each time! Even for a very restless and pathologically nomadic person like myself, this has been too much. Not surprisingly though, even in the midst of that, I decided to run away for a month to another continent. Supposedly, to centre myself and stabilise a little bit due to the abnormal number of relocations we endured in just 8 months. Some of the places were traumatic and some felt like I had been there all my life. At the end of all this, I have now ended up in Ladakh of all places. For how long, I don't know. No one in my specific situation has moved to Ladakh the way I have. For now, this is home I think.
