If you've ever visited it, you probably enjoy all the little detail in the unique architectural design! However, the interior and exterior is just one neat part that makes up this amazing station! Inside you can explore some of the cutest little shops, stay at the Crawford Hotel, sit and enjoy the beautiful surrounding interior, and much more!
Also, have you ever noticed the big zebra illustration near the Crawford Hotel front desk? This is actually hand drawn by master penman, Jake Weidmann. He spent hours with his pen in hand delineating the details which make up this spectacular art piece! It's a very fascinating work of art! NEW FAVORITE 🍝PASTA ALERT! Stopped by @copertadenver last night to see what was new on the menu. I was completely blown away by a dish that was added about a week and a half ago - the 🦑 SQUID INK CHITARRA. The sauce is made of 'nduja - a spicy, spreadable pork salumi that food scholars say is likely derived from the French andouille - and also features corn and okra. Originally ordered a half plate, then put in a SECOND ORDER for a full entree sized plate!!
At the moment it is unknown how long this dish will remain on the menu, so get on over to try it out. Do NOT be like the lady I overheard talking to our server who dismissed the idea of ordering this dish once she heard that 'nduja is spicy. Be brave - go for bold flavors! ⠀
This has already become a staff favorite on the menu, and I'm told that this dish can easily be adapted to include other veggies as the seasons change, which gives me great hope that this item will have some longevity on the menu. ⠀
I've eaten at Coperta more than 30 times and this may be one of my favorite pastas they've ever done. Please help me keep this piquant pasta on the menu and order it the next time you stop by Coperta!⠀

* Ndunderi Pomodoro (Ndunderi is a large dumpling-like pasta. It's served with a tomato sauce with scamorza cheese pieces. This dish is part of #trencoperta this month, highlighting Campania)⠀
*Gonfietti (Anchovy fritters - but they do not taste fishy at all. Also from this month's Tren Coperta.)⠀
* Fig + Robiola Triangoli (with arugula walnut pesto. New item on the regular menu)

These monthly collaborative dinners bring renowned chefs from around the country to Uchi for a one-night-only, multi-course event showcasing each chefs’ culinary point of view.
