No matter what, I need to show up to my workouts because not only does it help my mind and body, it makes everything in my life better. I don’t think fitness saved me, God did that. But working out has given me discipline in everything. I’ve learned to keep pushing when things are hard, to show up even when it’s the last thing I want to do.
I encourage you to do the same this week, don’t be so hard on yourself but please don’t give up, you’re so close. I hope you have a great week!! 💛

I struggled this evening, all because I didn’t eat my 4th meal. I took a long nap (3.5 hours) woke up and came straight to the gym. Wasn’t on a team, but lez be honest these people are my team. 😎This weekend was hands down the most difficult thing I have ever had to do in my athletic career and these humans made it fun! Everyone who competed did unbelievable. Even the spectators were killing the game 😂 the MC too of course. Strawberry Protein “Nice” Cream Cups 🍓🌞👙
Delicious Strawberry Ice Cream snack cups made with only fruit sugars + a punch of protein 💪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Makes about 6 cups/ small servings
Strawberry “Nice” Cream Cups 🍓🍌🍓🍌🍓🍌
2 frozen bananas
2 Tbsps unsweetened almond milk
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 scoop vanilla protein powder of choice - I use shakeology
1/4 cup fresh chopped strawberries to garnish (optional) 🍓🍦🍌👙
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Fill a silicone cupcake mold with this mixture, then top each cup with fresh strawberries as shown.
Freeze for about 2 hours.
Remove from molds.

Almost 40% of adults are obese! That’s so sad. I think what is really sad is that I’ve been one of those people in the past who used every excuse in the book to not take responsibility for my weight.
