You will shimmy, shake, and tap into your divine feminine energy! There is absolutely no dance experience required for this class! Increase body awareness, learn the basic walks, turns, kicks, floor work, teasing peels, sassy attitude, and how to strut live a diva! All classes are drop-in but routines from individual classes and can be strung together to create a longer routine. Yup...pretty much sums up my excitement for reaching the red carpet. Yet another Ironman Atlantic City in the books. This one, however, was special. There’s not much of a race report here. Due to my neck issues, I was highly undertrained for this event, so the goal was just to finish and enjoy it. And enjoy it I did. The best part of the day was getting to see and spend time with some amazing triathletes. Thank you @ginnylovestri24 , @jackiej_tris , @andthensome1 , @radioactive_trimom , @lizzielu7 , @trintriagain , @sdburke18 @jersearunnergirl @thetriumphproject @srb512 @danigogs for making it worth showing up and pushing through to that finish. When is the last time you tried something new? I know I hesitate to get out of my comfort zone and I’m guessing most of you do too. But every so often we need to think outside the box and try something new. Ya never know you might actually find something you really love. At the least, you’ll stretch yourself a bit. I tried CrossFit for the first time last night. Thanks to an invite from @jacobt_fit and @roy_ulrich 👊🏻. I admit I’ve put it off for a while Jake invited me in June 😳. Why? I’ve been busy—ok, that’s not really the truth because we make time for things we want to make time for—the truth is: I was a bit scared and a bit intimidated. I’ve never done CrossFit. It’s way out of my comfort zone. I prefer bodybuilding type weight training and endurance cycling for my workouts. I wasn’t sure what to expect from CrossFit other than tons of acronyms I don’t understand 🤪, But I’m so glad I FINALLY went. I did the endurance workout and it was a blast—challlenging—but I really enjoyed it. I encourage you to go out and try something new today—it doesn’t have to be #CrossFit — but get out and do something to stretch yourself a bit—something that pulls you out of your comfort zone.
