2 things that keep me sane: exercising and reading.
Exercise improves my mood, boosts energy, I sleep better, helps me to stay focused, it's much needed "me" time, helps me feel better mentally and it helps me clear negative energy.
Exercise helped me to fight depression and it keeps me going.
It's something I love and I truly enjoy it.
Reading helps me to relaxe, helps me to use my imagination, gives an amazing example to my kids to gane a reading habit, helps me to switch off and to enter a different dimension of thoughts and on top of that - I'm constantly learning new things. I just love it.
Next few weeks will be very stressful. I already feel the impact of this new situation that life put me in so it's really important for me to stay focused.
I feel that after a really long time I'm finally in the right place with my mind and my body and I'm trying my best not to get distracted by life. Sometimes I even start panicking that I will lose this peace and that I will go back to where I was before but I think I have learnt how to fight this thoughts and how to stay positive and strong. It took me long time to get here and I'm not allowing life to push me back.
I'm not taking life situations as punishment anymore and I don't question them. I accept them and I just go with it.
I'm so grateful that I found courage and strength and that I still believe in who I am.

Today we’re having my daughter’s first birthday party. Party planning can be super stressful, and not feeling well a week before so you can’t get the things done you wanted to adds to that stress!
So I’d like to share a few of the things I’ve learned as I worked on all the details that go into a day like today. And hopefully I’ll look back at this as the day goes on if I start to feel a little overwhelmed. 😉
1️⃣ If something doesn’t work out exactly as planned, that doesn’t mean that the day is ruined or the guests aren’t going to enjoy the party. Fix what you can, shrug off what you can’t, and enjoy the company.
2️⃣ Stop to notice and breathe every once in a while. Mindfulness snacks! (See my post from yesterday.)
3️⃣ Don’t forget what’s most important: my sanity. 🤪

Yesterday we used the 3 day canyon pass that Zac bought for his Timp run and we went up American Fork Canyon to explore Cascade Springs. Such a gorgeous place. Let good stuff be good. Jump into the feels. But don’t let them turn on you, don’t bargain on something - that’s not a bad deal.
So let me - stop me. From going into patterns I know. I’m far to interested in reaping, to not care for what I sow.
And no, this is not for you. It’s for future me. So she’ll have a happy life, and be whatever she wanna be.

I quickly signed up for this event as the tickets were selling fast.. Real fast..
Sometimes when I really wanted to do something, happily and waiting for this girls event.
Then suddenly my girl went into coughing, mild fever.. In the middle of the night her fever spike up, I quickly did what I needed to do, to bring her fever down ASAP...
After a few times of layering and all her fever subsided, and her fever break out 🙏
Then was monitoring her this morning, and did another round of layering...
Her fever didn't come back.
Being a mom so hesitate to leave her and dont know if the fever will come back or not. After much hesitation till about 10am, her fever still didn't come back.
Then I drove quickly to this event, even though I missed the 1st half but it was really good. So real that stumbling blocks will come, hesitation will come.. Despite all this what will I do is the most important, right?
I am so glad that I didn't miss this girls event for #introverts

Grateful I stumbled into Kavasutra last night, 3 min before bingo started.
