Not sure how many times in the past few days I’ve rerouted my travels just to ride past this. Yeah, it’s a billboard but for me it symbolizes so much more. It represents growth. It reminds me of all the days/nights/years of consistently working at a vision only I could see a lot of times. It reminds me of all the trips around the country, all the meetings I’ve sat in, all the no’s or crazy looks I got, and all the crazy sacrifices that I rarely speak on. Even though the fight continues and there’s still plenty more work to be done... it’s always cool to have these reminders of progress along the way. The best is still yet to come. 🏁🏆

Whilst at Surrey University I spent 4 years with @surrey_dance_squad on a variety of teams and comittee positions.
Throughout my time at uni I was part of the contemporary, jazz and hip-hop teams which allowed me to really explore my versatility within all the differing styles.
In my 2nd year I was the novice contemporary choreographer, and my team placed 2nd at the largest university dance competition in the U.K! In my final year I was the advanced jazz choreographer where the piece placed 2nd at Surrey Dance Competition.
Surrey Dance Squad was the main place I really got to explore and refine my love of choreography, performing and teaching dance to several different levels and styles!
