Roping in my mate to help me test out new campfire desserts on a recent camping trip. This one was storming... warmed crepes filled with chocolate and hazelnut spread, whipped cream and marshmallows on top. I’m not going to lie, I ate three. And I only stopped because we ran out. The kids are going to love these at forest school.

I love a Sunday roast, but I can never be bothered to go to that effort when its just for me. Most of the time I just wait until I go home for the weekend and have one of mums. It's always so much nicer when someone else cooks it for you, and even nicer again going out for it 😍
Thomas Restaurant, located inside The Future Inn Hotel down the bay, have recently relaunched their Sunday lunch menu. It's main course for £9.95, 2 courses for £11.95 or 3 courses for £15.95.
As you can see, the portion size is very generous with loads of different veggies, stuffing, a big yorkshire, all of the goodies that make a roast great. Couldn't decide between beef or gamon so went for both 🤷♀️ I liked that the beef was still kinda pink so it wasn't tough like you see a lot of the time.
The star of the show for me though was the parsnips. I mean, have you ever seen parsnips like this? My first thought was they look like chicken goujons 😂 it makes parsnips taste soo good. Will be letting mum know for sure!

Last night's birthdays dinner for my Nan's birthday 🥳 she loves @frankienbennys and my sister will go there with no arguments so happy days 🙌

My nan went for the classic chicken burger and chips but tucked in before I had a chance to snap a picture 😂
My salmon was so nice and it was good to have a jacket that was done properly because i can never be bothered to wait that long and do mine in the microwave ☺️
I even managed to tempt my fussy af sister to try the salmon and she liked it 🤯 so while she was eating bits of mine, I tucked into her super indulgent mac n cheese 🤤

Grabbing a spot at the bar (today was cheekily sooner than we should have 🤭), pressing the button straight away and getting the hot choices ordered then having a nose at what's on the conveyor belt and having a few of those while waiting.
We've got this process down to a tee by now 👌
Never have I ever been so surprised by a street food vendor than when I tried @dirtybirdfriedchicken for the first time.
I went for:
🔸️ 3 buttermilk chicken pieces
🔸️ Halloumi fries
I mean why have regular fries when you can have halloumi fries!? Going in, I kinda thought 'Yeah it's just fried chicken, meh whatever' but then wow. The chicken is just incredible! So tasty and completely edible - who wants to faff around with bones pfft 🙅♀️ it also has a nice light batter so its not too crunchy crispy.
The halloumi fries were done perfectlyyyyy, a lovely golden coating with a soft creamy centre 😍
If you've seen these guys about you'll know about their hilariously cheeky logo, however the one thing these guys are definitely serious about is the quality of their food👌
