Do you know why most of the population won’t reach their dreams?—Because it’s hard.
Plain and simple. Working to reach your dreams, passions and goals is H A R D work and that’s why most people will die without living out what truly makes them happy. It sucks to say, but it’s 100% true.
Why do I say this?...
Living away from my family is HARD!!! Not a lot of people pick up and leave to start something new and to fight for their future! With those choices comes sacrifices—and one of my sacrifices I had to face was no longer living close to my family, and that my friends, is freaking HARD...
However, I’m still on cloud 9 because I got to see my sister and two of my babies last Friday—AND I’ll be heading to MO on Thursday to meet the newest little member of our family!💕 My heart is so full and I can’t wait to see my family (PS, don’t tell my dad😉🤫)!
Moral of the story—if you have some goals you’re trying to accomplish, you’ll also have some things you’ll need to sacrifice. It’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it. 🖤

The Pope commissioned French abbot Bernard of Clairvaux to preach the Second Crusade, and granted the same indulgences for it which Pope Urban II had accorded to the First Crusade.
A parliament was convoked at Vezelay in Burgundy in 1146, and Bernard preached before the assembly on March 31. Louis VII of France, his wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine, and the princes and lords present prostrated themselves at the feet of Bernard to receive the pilgrims' cross.
Bernard then passed into Germany, and the reported miracles which multiplied almost at his every step undoubtedly contributed to the success of his mission. At Speyer, Conrad III of Germany and his nephew, later Holy Roman Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, received the cross from the hand of Bernard. Pope Eugene came in person to France to encourage the enterprise.

Ask #CharisZhu if in the future #piano and #chess can only choose one. He answered kind of equal. He choose both. If no choice, then piano, but he added a "that won't happen". Less than 2yrs,piano level 7 ,not that bad. A couple of months, chess #rating 1000 not bad either. Maybe he has to #sacrifice his #piece
Make sure the outside noise, rankings, evaluations don’t make you full! You must stay hungry, humble, driven, and ready to sacrifice everything to be the best you. Let those things only serve as fuel to do more, give more, become more. As they say “THE BALL DONT LIE” if you are not pushing yourself to the limit, and finding much higher levels to what you can do, and capable of, you are doing yourself an incredible disservice. Which will result in losing it all as quick as you received it. #bpshomegrownhoops#refuel#sacrifice#gottawantit#iwantmore#livewhatido#develop#newlevels#keepreaching

You decide what you see. Is The Tower despair in destruction, or the necessary cost of a glorious rebirth?
Eventually, the things we have to let go to step into alignment will feel jarring. It will be a well-established part of your character, foundational relationships, careers—things we gloss over in our assessment of healing and growth because they have become so ingrained as to be thought automatic and inseparable from who we are. The recognition of this can either be an awakening or turmoil depending on how you choose to respond.
The process of healing and ascension is not linear and does not come without sacrifice. It won’t always be meditation and incense. Sometimes, spirit will shatter your expectations and rock you into alignment. In that moment, when it’s time to choose between holding onto the burning structures you’ve grown accustomed to and taking the leap of faith to trust that everything is for your highest good, this is when you show how dedicated you are to the ascension you seek.
#Repost from @by.rooj1 with @regram.app ... I have been writing about all the shahadats and Masaib of Karbala and the Prophet(S.A.W)’s family and i have been crying and i know people have been crying with me. And as i was writing Imam Hussain’s shahadat today it occured to me what more does Imam Hussain need from me than my tears and this constant Ache in my heart for him? And then i recalled a verse from this noha,
‘hussain deen bhi hai aur deeniyat bhi hai
hussain kalma e tauheed ki hayaat bhi hai’
May Allah make me strong enough to not just cry for Hussain(A.S) but also follow his path. The path that includes praying 5 times. Standing upto the wrongs. The path of humanity. The path of being a better human for Allah’s khalq. The path that includes never compromising on your Iman and fundamentals even if it means standing alone and losing everything. May Allah grants me the toufeeq to understand Quran more thoroughly and to follow Islam in its true essence and more than that to be a a good Human. Someone who can at the day of Mehshar can atleast make Muhammad(S.A.W) and Aal e Muhammad(S.A.W) a little proud for she didn’t just commemorate their sacrifices but also tried to follow examples set by them. Examples of love and humanity. Examples of parsai and faith. May my love for Imam Hussain not only awakens the Musalman in me in muharram only but also makes all the other 11 months revolve around it. May i follow Bibi Zainab’s courage and never back down infront of the oppressor. May Mola Abbas(AS) wafadari teaches me to never betray or let down my loved ones. May Hurr(AS) waqiya teaches me that its never too late for tauba and that Allah will always forgive you if you mean it. May next Muharram when i cry for the masaib of my Hussain, my tears are not mixes with the tears of guilt that comes from knowing that all year long i let my imam down by not practicing the teachings he sacrificed his whole life for. Ameen.
‘wo apne jism pe zakhmon pe zakhm khaata raha
qadam barhaata raha qadam barhaata raha
bas ek azm tha insaan surkh ru ho jaaye
bas ek dhun thi ke insaaniyat na mar jaaye’
May Allah makes me a better Human. A human who can play her part in saving human.

“By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies, Genesis 22:16-17
And Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. “Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. John 12:23-27
God always asks us to love him above all else. Do we love him more than we love our children whom he gave us? Do we love him more than we love our own lives? Are we willing to sacrifice it all when he calls us to entrust our children to him, or to entrust our own lives to him? Do we believe that he is trustworthy, that he will multiply anything we surrender to him?
Abraham believed. Jesus believed and went to the cross and he calls us to follow him, trusting the Father with our lives, sacrificing our own will to live for his. "Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." Let's ask ourselves today, Am I holding on to my life or am I laying it down to follow Jesus? Will I save my life and lose it or will I surrender my life to keep it for eternal life?
Jesus promises us more than this world can ever offer, but it comes at a cost that he has very clearly shown us. Am I willing to follow him? Are you?
Living a military life means that for those of you with children, many firsts are experienced alone. Or, if you're lucky, captured in a photo or video for sharing later. What first's has your husband or partner missed whilst serving in the military? #military#firsts#missedout
