9 MONTHS IN // 9 MONTHS OUT •
The moment I found out I was pregnant, I was so apprehensive, nothing like I thought I’d be. I was a little nervous, probably bc it was real and I wasn’t just thinking about it. I was instantly so protective of my tummy and I wanted to do everything I could to make sure I could grow a healthy and happy baby. When I started to show a bump I became proud. The most proud I’ve ever been in my life. I WAS GROWING A BABY IN MY TUMMY! I became super confident and already felt like a mumma. The first time I heard the heartbeat to the first time I seen his face after giving birth was when I realised the enormity of what my body has just done for us. I literally LOVED being pregnant, I couldn’t get over what my body was doing! (Still can’t!) The first cry, the first cuddle I will never forget those moments and feelings. My little smiling assassin and cheeky chap - Bringing so much love into my life. Looking back to the beginning of the year when Mr T was sleeping majority of the time, didn’t say/do much to now, where he doesn’t stop unless he’s sleeping, I’m cherishing every moment watching him grow up. It goes shockingly fast though and it’s something I don’t think I’m coming to terms with well 🥺 #slowdown
Regardless, I’m glad I’ve embraced it. It’s full of highs and lows but the best part is you never give up.
📣 N E W C L A S S A D D E D 📣 - The latest edition to our growing class timetable is bought to you by the fabulous @wellfitmumma_physio team.
Postnatal Yoga and Pilates is a perfect way to start gently exercising after you’ve had a baby. Our classes are 90 percent for mum with a little baby yoga and massage at the end for the little one.
These classes include yoga to warm up the body in a gentle way and to help unwind areas of tension that may have built up during pregnancy, birthing and postnatally. We concentrate on areas such as the shoulders, neck, back, and hips, all of which can get particularly uncomfortable postnatally.
We then move onto some healing Pilates type exercises specifically designed for the postnatal body to help with diastasis healing, pelvic floor weakness (or tightness) and to help strengthen areas that may have become weak during pregnancy such as the glutes and pelvic muscles.
We finish with some lovely songs, baby yoga and a little massage for baby as well as a well-deserved relaxation for mum.
Booking via the Wellfitmumma website.

Day 1 and Day 50!
Half way through!! And as promised, my 'Before & After'.
My weight hasn't moved since day 20 which is great because my aim is to maintain.
I've gained half inch on each bicep.
Lost 2 inches!! Off each thigh and one Inch from my waist.
My hip measurement hasn't moved but I'm literally measuring my hip bone, so it's not gonna! I store my fat in the front of my tummy not so much the sides.
The difference in my mental health is incredible! .
I wish I had taken more flexed photos before I began because the tone & muscle difference is awesome! I always feel like a prize twerp doing those pics though 🤣
So there you have it. Wanna join me? Let's chat all things above!
⭐️YOU ARE AN INCREDIBLE MOM & WOMAN⭐️
I have connected with some incredible & beautiful new mamas and I was feeling so inspired by them when I wrote todays workout
Newly Postpartum is such a special, beautiful, exhausting, exhilarating, confusing, and emotional time. My wish for as many new moms as possible is for them to find more love for their body & what it is capable of than they ever knew was possible.
That is literally why I wrote a 12 week postpartum program from such a place of love & care & kindness for you and your body. Not so that women can “bounce back” but because taking that time for myself and my body was such a form of self-love & self-care that has saved me both times after having my world turned upside down (in an amazing but overwhelming way) with both my kids
With today’s workout, focus on how it feels in your body. Take your time with the movement. I promise you will one day have the strength you had (& even more!) but newly postpartum is a time to focus on healing your pelvic floor & deep abs while strengthening your upper body & legs to handle all the carrying of your new bundle of joy you will need to do!
Complete each move for 45 seconds to a minute focusing on connecting to your core with each movement
⭐️Squat + 3 Second Pause
⭐️Bridges + 3 Second Pause
⭐️Alternating Heel Taps
Complete 3 rounds for a 15 minute workout you can do with no equipment and very little space!
If you are a new mom (for the first, second, or however many time), comment below how many months you are postpartum! I would love to connect with you, cheer you on, and send a little love your way!
Please share this with a new mom in your life by tagging them below ❤️
If you, or someone you know, is newly postpartum, I have an awesome Postpartum Program for you! 12 weeks of healing your body & helping your mind through the transition into motherhood! Each workout is done in 30 minutes or less, comes with community, & includes how I healed my Diastasis Recti. For only $33! The link is in my bio ❤️
I have been sick, feeling like absolute shit. Fell off track, listened to my body skipped the gym, and cheated a few times. Yet I feel leaner then I did last week. That’s why I love these products so much. It’s a new week, I’m ready to get back on track, hit the gym, kill it at work, & inspire you all along the way ✨💪🏼🌿
What is everyone’s goals for the week?
Now that I’ve reached 100 followers (small, but mighty 💪🏻), I thought I’d say hello 👋🏻 again and tell you a little more about myself. 💕I knew I wanted to be a physical therapist since I was 13 years old and had back surgery for scoliosis. The physical therapists in the hospital helped me walk again and I thought it was the coolest job. 💕I have my doctorate and have been practicing for 10 years. I first graduated with a Master’s then completed my Doctorate right after my first child was born (only slightly stressful lol). 💕I remember feeling shocked and somewhat embarrassed when I learned what my and every woman’s body went through after childbirth. I felt that as a women’s health physical therapist I SHOULD’VE KNOWN WHAT TO EXPECT. I thought so many times “why doesn’t anyone talk about this??” I want to have those hard conversations with expecting mothers. 💕I have two sons that I love so much and test me everyday. I know firsthand how difficult it is to make time for yourself while caring for other little humans. I want to provide women the opportunity to give their bodies the care they need and deserve. 💕If you are new to my account, I’d love to hear your story. If you’re looking for specific content, please reach out. I want to create a welcoming, positive community for women to ask the questions they have without judgement. *
