💫 Do a job that makes you want to dance into work 💫
I know I’m working all hours at the moment, and I know I’m surviving on 5 hours sleep, and I know that sometimes it feels like I’m never not at work....but...
I love my job so much. I cannot explain how it makes me feel seeing people wear clothes that I have designed and made. I can honestly say I’ve never felt happier in my job 🙌🏼❤️
I wanted to do a follow on from yesterday, you now know my physical identity with my size and height etc for clothes I want you all to know a little bit more about actual me (: .
Fun Facts :
I am 25 years old, I was married when I was just 19. I have 2 kids that you guys get to see every now and then, Annabeth and Jace. I actually got the name Annabeth from the TV show Hart of Dixie and Jace is named after a guy my husband knows. .
I am left handed, I love Disney and anything pretty much PG - especially the tween movies 🙈 (finally watched descendants 3 the other day OMG!) .
I am the youngest of 4 and we grew up on acerage with sheep and horses and chickens etc. but if you asked me to touch any of those things now I would freak out because I am an absolute chicken - to be fair I have been bitten but most of these animals so it isn’t unfounded!! A horse bit my forehead trying to get to my cousin when I was little and my sister had to carry me home with blood dripping down my face - hence the now very much suburban person 😂😂 .
I absolutely love to create things, whether it’s parties or drawings or beautiful outfits, I love esthetically putting something together. Before I had Jace I actually had a successful business creating fondant cake toppers, I even taught a class but had to give it up when I got pregnant because the smell made me puke .
When I was little I always wanted to be a window dresser, especially the big Christmas Myer windows, they were just magical and I thought it was so cool that was actually a job
I go to church every Sunday and am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). This is why all the clothes I show you have sleeves and are just above the knee or longer 😊
My favourite food ever is spaghetti and meatballs although I have been recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance and so have to have lame fake pasta now 😂 but I have had spaghetti every year for my birthday dinner ever since I could remember
So that’s a bit about me, I thought you guys should get to know me a bit more and I will continue to find you beautiful affordable clothes 💜💜💜
Oh hey lil bump 💗
Every pregnancy and every baby is completely different but one thing that has remained the same in both of my pregnancies is that I carry small, although I feel mahooosive the reality of having a small hump hits when I can still put my high waisted jeans on 🤣
I’ve always been one to want to show off my bump, longing to be big enough for maternity clothes and to finally come out of the ‘is she pregnant or?’ Stage 😅 but one thing that hit me during my second pregnancy was peoples comments. It’s never nice to hear ‘Oh you don’t really have a bump do you?’
‘Are you sure there’s a baby in there?’ I know people mean well and might think these comments are lighthearted but words have a longer lasting effect than people think. •
Pregnancy hormones don’t help the sensitivity but always remember to be kind and courteous when conversing with an expecting mama, you never know their journey💗
Just not feeling very ‘shine’ or ‘sparkle’ today. Hoping this coffee and some Vitamin D beamed in from the sun will help. Remember how last week we were all more or less revelling in the ‘back to school’ vibe, the comforting routine of the school run, the order and structure we had missed over the summer holidays? Don’t think it was just me. However, I think, like the little preschoolers I’ve seen this week, crying because they don’t want to go in - we’re all starting to realise it wasn’t just a few days, we have to keep going! Every day! I’m torn between the desire to be mega productive, and tick things off my list, and the insomnia-driven need to take things slow. Decided to go for option b, spurred on by listening to @katiepiper_ on the Happy Place Podcast. “Listen to your body” she says. My body wants coffee and a sit down so I’m giving in and I’m not going to feel bad about it! #schoolrunmum#listentoyourbody#cantdoitall
Most people hate Monday’s but they are my favourite day. I spend the day with my favourite person making sure she gets to do all the things she Ioves. Morning at the play centre followed by her baby ballet class by the lovely Miss Bethany from @babyballetbramhall then brownie baking in the afternoon. Working for myself has enabled me to spend the time with my little lady and I wouldn’t change it for the world 💕
Meghan Markle released a range of workwear last week for a good cause. We appreciate the sentiment, but think our style has her trumped! Don't you?

Its National Fox Day! Did you know the reason why Ethan is a fox, is because our Daughter loved foxes at a young age? We designed Ethan with her in mind when she was suffering from teething pains as a baby 🦊
✭ BREAKFAST ✭

A bad night with Lincoln as he’s going through a combo of teething and growth pains at the moment so a quick freezer stash breakfast to start the day!
Isn’t Mickey just the cutest thing 🐭
Showing Jaiden our parade photos & videos from our last DLP trip, and he is mesmerised, I can’t wait to see his face when we’re actually there next year.
I still can’t get over the fact we’re going!!! 🏰💗
Keep doing the work and one day you will realise the things that used to make your chest shake don't affect you at all.
One day you will be free to teach the kids how to be a master noodle slurper.
Family Court here in nz takes approximately 2 years from start to finish. We've been in the system for 15 months now.
I used to shake at emails, affidavits , going through messages and reliving the pain. I was not clear, grounded or even capable and I was scared that I was a bad mum. I was scared that the courts would take Addison from me. Even though, everyone told me that was ridiculous. I was terrified. I didn't feel like a good mum. .
I got home yesterday morning after another meeting and climbed into bed and napped. Something I haven't done for ages. I could hear myself telling myself that yesterday was not the day to make any big moves. Let it settle.
This morning I was grumpy yet I found myself asking myself how I could be more flexible, was there something I was missing, was I open to solutions, was I certain?
Then I got on with my day. I'm tired though. Court stuff makes me tired. There's so many moving parts. So much responsibility. I don't even know how I feel.
So tonight as I started to organise myself on paper I realised just how far I've come. I'm so damn proud of myself. Really honestly, I prayed for this certainty. I prayed for this calm. I prayed for coping skills and to act with love.
And to the bunch of people who messaged me last week telling me they were proud of me, thank you. I don't know why suddenly now people have shared this with me, but your timing was impeccable.
I don't know much, but I do I love being a mum and that I'm a good mum. And that my friends, is all I need to know. 💙💖🙏
We love fake fur 🖤!

How old do you think Georgia is?
I realized when I took these photos yesterday how grown up she looks. 📸😭
Most people think she is 4 when they first see her because of her height I'm guessing. She is by far the tallest out of her friend's.
But she will always be our little baby in our eyes 👀🤱🏼 Oh and her age! ...she is 2 and a half years old 💕
Someone absolutely loves the water 💧
I have to admit, it wasn't the warmest but she didn't even flinch. This little swim float was fab so we didn't have to hold her all the time and is suitable up to 1 year old. We packed it in our case to take away to Turkey with us next month.
POSTNATAL RUNNING 🏃♀️
Enjoy running but confused when it’s safe to return to running postnatal? Unfortunately pain, diastasis recti, urinary incontinence and prolapse are all conditions prevalent in postnatal runners. Running is a high impact activity that places a lot of demand on our muscles and joints. It is therefore important women allow their body time to heal and regain their strength before returning to running safely.
So what is the timeframe for returning to running? 🤔
This will vary for each person but recent guidelines published recommend women wait at least 3 months, initially following low impact exercises and starting the return to running between 3-6 months postnatal. .
Return to running is not advisable if any of the following symptoms are present; .
✖️heaviness or dragging in the pelvic area
✖️leaking urine or inability to control bowel movements ✖️ a gap between your abdominal wall indicating the presence of diastasis recti ✖️pelvic or lower back pain ✖️ ongoing or increased blood loss 8 weeks postnatal.
. 👩⚕️It is recommended all mums receive a postnatal check by a health professional before returning to running, just like any injury, our bodies need time to heal, with the right care and management to allow for this. Invest the time into your health and prioritise the time needed to regain your strength before throwing on your running shoes👣 .
