The more a procrastinated the farther away I got from my goals, a healthy lifestyle, feeling my best and whipping my laziness in the butt. When people say “be Nike” that’s really what has to happen. So I make the sacrifices everyday✅ Put in the hard work everyday✅ Found my community✅ Drinking my shake everyday✅ And I’m getting the results✅ And that’s when it gets easier when you see the results.🎉 I still have bad days. Jumping into Phase 2 of my 100 workout program with these two!! Today they did a workout that has taken me 20 days to get to and rocked it, AFTER taking a yoga class. It’s never too late to make a commitment to doing something fun and beneficial for your body and mind. Yeah, working out doesn’t have to be a drag or take a lot of time. 30 min and I’m done most days. So @_jacqueline_ & @316jls are our newest accountability partners, were not really levitating but it looks freaking cool. 😝 I am so freaking pumped and I can’t wait to see what these to do with the next 100 workouts, cause yeah today was day 21/100 for me but it’s Day 1/100 for them. And it doesn’t really matter in the long run, cause it’s about building sustainable habits. The programs are just here to help build the consistency that reinforces those habits. TEMPO TEMPOOOOOO-😊 Isometrics and Eccentrics are some of my favorite ways to change up my workouts. 1️⃣ One of the biggest reasons I like holds and slower lowers is when you slow down you really have to think about every aspect of the exercise. You have to cement the relationship in your body and mind! You cannot “go thru the motions,” your mind must be as present as your muscles. 2️⃣ It is safer and more controlled as you demonstrate end range strength and your body’s ability to “brake.” With tempo training you cannot sling weight around or be whipping thru the set. You eliminate one of the biggest cheats in resistance training- momentum. By slowing down for 4-6 counts your muscles have to work harder thru full range of motion, inducing muscle hypertrophy — the ability to build lean muscle tissue. 3️⃣ Slow lowers create more stress on the muscle. In the eccentric part of an exercise, the muscle fibers have to work against resistance as they lengthen. Nerve impulses signal motor units to fire, but there are fewer motor units involved than during the concentric phase, thus more stress. So a 6 count lower on a pushup will challenge any level of athlete. You could also have lighter dumbbells and still be greatly challenged by doing tempo training. _________________ . . . When you find your purpose in life and lead with a passionate intention anything is possible!!! Never let anyone tell you you are not good enough because you are! I was always wrapped in the thoughts of opinion of others, I would let others define me and Pass judgment on to me. It totally stressed me out and broke me down. My passion has led me into setting an example and being an inspiration for anyone! Raising a child in this world today is so difficult! I constantly tell her “you can do anything you want” She watches me just like you! She sees me achieve and reach for goals! In return, I see her and you work hard! We push each other through my inspiration, which just fills my heart and head that I can do this for her and for others, to lead the way so that we all can do this! Leading life with love kindness and authenticity...... oh it is so beautiful! People will always have their own opinions judgments as hard as it is to release the negative energy it’s truly not worth your time! YOU are worthy. YOU are beautiful in your own way and we are and that is all that matters! Find your purpose. Love your purpose. Live your purpose. I cannot be more grateful for this community and challenge groups I am active in and for this coaching opportunity. I would not be a strong and confident as I am today if it wasn’t for all this!
