Taking a moment to say thank you. Truly. We are preparing for a season of training and deployments. I wasn’t sure if I could do it all, have it all, or balance it at all. We’re still figuring it out but the patience and support I’ve received from you guys has been moving.
My little one is turning 7 months soon and I fall in love with him deeper every day. We’re in the very vocal phase where he likes to scream when he wants or doesn’t want something. I’m the kind of mom that.. Er.. joins. So imagine us just making pterodactyl screeches at each other back and forth while giggling inbetween. That’s what I live for. That’s what I’m working for. Memories to cherish with him.
That said, being a married single mom and boss mom is going to be hard. So worth it, but hard. If you want to go the extra mile here’s what you can do:
💥 Take advantage of the early bird special on September 1st if you’re planning on ordering holiday gifts! It’s there so I can know what to expect for this season! The earlier I can plan, the better for us all.
💥 Be kind through any delays. I can’t predict what’s going to happen and so far every other week there’s a delay of some sort.. I do my best to adjust accordingly but sometimes my timeline will get pushed back. (But guaranteed you’ll get holiday commissions well in advance!)
💥 Continue to like, comment, and share! I try to read everything, even if it’s a day or two later! Your words of kindness warms my heart and keeps me motivated.
💥 If you know me personally, I won’t say no to delivered food, scheduled check in calls, and love notes :) #justsayin
Love this community and you SO much,
Day 22/100 down in the books.
I am up late doing work..
I took the day to do errands, visit my loved ones and to have some me time.
Crazy that I’ve been in over 100° weather all day running around, didn’t get home until really late... BUT I love this lifestyle so much I came home and as soon as I pushed play.. my energy level changed. Just the start of the music, the smell of my pre... lit me up && I killed the workout!
This is about building habits. You don’t have to be super fit, super motivated, super anything.. you just have to be a human ready for more!
You have to say ✌🏻 out to my comfort zone, my excuses, my self doubt, my lame old self.. and CREATE the life you want.
I got the tools you need. This ain’t a diet! It’s a life-changing-experience.
If you’re ready to take a huge leap into life as a better you-holler at your girl!!
So close! I have until noon tomorrow (Tuesday) to get up to $1,500 and then I repel off the Hydro building downtown dressed as super girl! All donations over $20 get a tax receipt and go to support people with disabilities ( @smd_mb). If you are able, I would really appreciate your support! Link is in my bio or comment below and I can send it to you directly!
Being a #sahm is such a rewarding gift that I knew I always wanted when I had kids. It can also leave you feeling extremely lonely at times... When you don't have adult interaction during the day and you're dealing with your loving children screaming and throwing tantrums (not that my kids do this 😉) it can really get you down. •
Moving all over #orangecounty the past few years, it's been a struggle to find community. I've always been hesitant towards social media, and I never believed you could build actual friendships from it! The past few weeks I've never felt more supported and lifted up by new women I've met from social media 🥰 These ladies inspire me to continue growing our community so that we can be friends to the lonely and rise together to be the best versions of ourselves! 😄
VAkANTIE MET DREUMES ♡ Zoals beloofd.

Our first time at the Santa Monica Pier and Eli loved all the sights and sounds! Reminded me of a mini version of the boardwalks in NJ ❤️🎡
This just made me cry a little, in a good way. It touched my heart.
I tried so hard to be a good friend when my friends had babies. This was before I was even married.
It truly was a gift just to be able to do that for them. Getting it in return was an unexpected treasure.
I’ll never forget when my husband has his company’s Christmas party and my parents were unavailable to babysit. Archer was maybe three months-old and I panicked.
We’d just moved to a new town, I knew no one and wasn’t about to call a random babysitter. My PPD was a raging wildfire with no containment in sight. We were just going to skip the party.
But we didn’t have to.
Without hesitation my friend @jamiejamjamjam drove up, spent the weekended with us and watched Archer so we could go to the party. I didn’t even worry once, I can’t explain how free I felt being away and knowing my son was in the best hands. I felt so lucky to not only have her there, but that her family also happily supported her in being away for the weekend.
Cherish your friends, they’re one of the greatest gifts in our lives.

How do you put the needs of one child before another?
This is an impossible position. It is one of the most cumbersome decisions we have had to make, any yet…it wasn’t. .
Very early on, we chose to eliminate all of B’s anaphylactic allergens from our home (before baby A). Our “babies” are 18 months apart and with two tiny humans that eat like a Hoover vacuum was meant to sit underneath them and simultaneously wet mop all the walls (careful as we are), eliminating B’s worst allergens has seemed like the only option for the past two years. We were advised that unless we were in a position to expose our youngest to B’s allergens with consistency a few times a week, trying it once or twice at Grandma’s would do no good. We maintained early exposure for “baby” A for foods that B is sensitive but not anaphylactic to, but I have not been able to bring myself to have dairy, several tree nuts or mustard in our home. These boys love each other and they are alllllll over each other allllll the time—everything goes in their mouths (toys, hands, baby gate latches, etc.) and they love to share. Without quitting my job, I just couldn’t imagine how we could expose A to these things several times a week and still keep big brother safe while maintaining time together as a family.
Two years later, we felt brave enough to try to manage this juggling act. Two years later, we had our youngest skin tested for the second time before navigating these waters. And two years later, here we are… at the same office…hopefully a quicker and easier outcome. .
We are awaiting blood test results and trying not to get ahead of ourselves. In comparison to B’s skin tests this little back looks like a clear sunny day, but there are “medium risk” markers for mustard, dairy, tree nuts and eggs (A has Acute FPIES to eggs, so at least I’m not feeling like this one is my fault for lack of exposure—it just simply has not been an option). I don’t regret how we have handled this (truly, but go easy on me as I know there are families that have navigated this!). .
It’s a choice I hope no parent ever has to make. It is not easy, and I’m still looking for my guide book.

Deze mama draait zich nu nog eventjes om 😴.
If only the realities of daily life living with Cerebral Palsy, would give us a little break whilst we were away on holiday!
Unfortunately we had to take our boy Blair to a local GP up here on the Gold Coast this morning as he continues to try and fight his nasty chest infection
As is his “Winter Norm” it’s been a three month battle with multiple antibiotics... cough medications... Ventolin puffers... Panadol, rest & fluids... chest Physio... steriods... multiple days spent at home... steam vaporisers... and plenty of TLC
We were hoping that a real break with lots of fresh air & plenty of sunshine would make all the difference
And it is... but just not as quickly as we’d like and our boy is struggling way too harder then needed just to be able to breathe
So it’s stronger antibiotics... stronger puffers... and plenty of rest, fluids, fresh salty air, warm sunshine and a whole lot of love & cuddles for our little fighter
Despite facing the same and worse battles EVERY winter for the last 10 years, to date thanks to my training as an RN, I have ALWAYS managed to keep Blair out of hospital... even with dreaded pneumonia
Just found this amazing idea on Pinterest from @designimprovised and you better believe I’ll be trying to implement this one ASAP! I’ve got lunchboxes, water bottles, containers, and snacks ALL OVER the place!! Not to mention we have the world’s smallest pantry for food storage, so this might help out quite a bit! 🤔💡✨
Life is never dull with kids.
Really learning to enjoy these last few months of pregnancy because it’ll definitely be my last 😅 Very proud to be able to house my tiny baby until he’s ready to come into our world. We can’t wait 🥰 & YES! That’s a bug on my leg in the last pic 😩
