This is a topic I could talk about for eternity.... but I’ll try to be short and sweet. .
July 2018: I was out of shape, not eating healthy, and I appeared to be “enjoying” life. Only my closest friends and family knew that actually I was severely depressed. I had crippling social anxiety. I struggled with some serious suicidal ideation. I was not at all proud of who I was. I hated myself. And that landed me in the hospital. Yes this is super personal, but I feel called to share my story with you because I know that some of you are in the same dark place. .
For so long I felt alone..... but the truth is there was a part of me that WAS alone. I was alone in making my life better. I was the only one with that kind of power. .
That’s the hard truth. It all starts with YOU. .
There is a solution to every problem. What is the problem’s core? YOU. Your mind. .
I can say with full certainty that I have beat that really hard time in my life. Do I still have depression and anxiety? Yes. And that’s part of who I am. The PROBLEM is how it affects me. And I say that confidently because over the past 3-4 months I have gone through some of the scariest moments of my life, I have dealt with an amount of stress that in the past would have swallowed me whole.... and I handled it effortlessly. .
I’m not bragging. I’m telling you that there IS a solution: mental change. Attitude change. Change your habits. Learn your weaknesses. Learn from your failures. GROW your mind. .
You have the tools to master your mind. But you also have the choice to stay stagnant. To be lazy.
The temporary pain you have to put yourself through to get to a better life is worth it. What’s it going to take for you to believe that? .
As soon as you learn to master your mind, you have the power to do anything. Trust me. .

I feel like the gym is one thing I have to help free my mind. Sometimes I fee like I’m in a place where things are even more confusing.
I wish things were more clear to me as I continue on this journey. Being nearly 33 years old makes me wonder what different pathways may show up by chance or by choice.
We need not to worry about what could happen but rather what will happen if you choose to work. It’s so hard to be at ease each day with life constantly throwing things your way, and I wish it were easier at times, but then would this even be worth it.
I’d much rather it be difficult and natural than easy and fake. Sometimes, however, this challenges my mental state of mind. Then I realize as long as I put in the work, I can control my mind and it will become stronger than I think; just like I’ve become stronger due to the work I put in. If we’re being honest I’ve been taking a lot of L’s in silence. But the burning desire in me keeps me focus and going. I’m so excited and ready to keep working hard and get through whatever comes my way. Yesterday Max started “packing up” for a big imaginary trip. I asked him where we were going - Africa!

Traveling with my kiddos is a huuuuge goal of mine, so that little game lit a fire in me.
We have big plans and big dreams, and coaching is building up that travel fund. So grateful I have the opportunity to be turning these dreams into reality for our family. Bring on the travel and adventure I yearn for with my family!

Day 14 of 32. The struggle of getting a picture in the dark was REAL . I was trying to figure out a way to get some work done after actual work and i was about to just not workout today bc my shift was from 12-8.. but no time to waste 😤 Don’t sleep on late night at home workouts .. they don’t play either👀👀 It wasn’t one of the best workouts i’ve had but like i say, something is better than nothing and it stirred up some sweat so it was definitely worth it. Just because I exclusively pay for sex now doesn’t mean that will always be the case. When I make my first Billy Bob Thorton I’m going find an equally rich woman, marry her, combine our money, and grow it exponentially. With the caveat of course that I never have sex with her and still only pay for it. Don’t mix business with pleasure my friends. Unless of course it’s just paying for sex.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been able to get it in due to such a busy life with work, home, kids, etc., but I’m so glad I got it in today! Me and @tekrighter try make it a point to do our best to stay fit. At our age and our busy lifestyle, keeping up with the little ones, it’s important that we do what we can to be healthy and set an example for our kids to live healthy lives as well. Don’t get me wrong, we definitely indulge in a cheesesteak (and other unhealthy foods) here and there, but exercising is a must, if even just once or twice a week. (The struggle is real!😩).... We like getting outdoors and the doing the trails for the scenery. I struggled a little bit today towards the end, but mama I made it!!!💪🏾😎.... True life: I have been engulfed in the mom life this weekend. We swam, went to the park, target, the gym, on a run, to grandmama and grandpapa’s, barely survived church, and so much more. Have I work the same two outfits all weekend? Yup! 🙌🏼 When’s the last time I washed my hair? 😂😂😂😂 I think Thursday? But this little man is turning into such a toddler.. the way he mimicks some of the things I say is amazing, and terrifying. He has absolutely 0 fear. Thank you for making me a mom little man, it’s my favorite job ❤️

Set out for an easy run. Ended up feeling good and pushing pace 8:25 pace was almost too much on a fuller than optimal stomach.(also faster than I normally run!!) But I got it done. Now for some yoga to love my muscles for all work I've put in this week.

Some people may argue that a sweater while training doesn't do much, I have to disagree (which doesnt mean you have to keep it on tbe whole workout). My blood flow, my pumps, my warm-ups, and the amount I sweat during a workout say otherwise. Try it and see how you like it. 💪 The gym is about bettering yourself not trying to be the biggest tool in the gym, it's ok to wear a sweater sometimes😂😎
