Today was full of the yummiest plant based, high vibe foods. 😍 I am definitely back into my green smoothie obsession. You can add a handful of spinach to any smoothie recipe and really can’t tell it’s even in there! Pack in those micro nutrients and your body with thank you. 🙌🏼
As most of you probably know by now, I eat a completely plant based diet. Sometimes people ask me why and I could talk to them for days about my reasoning behind this decision. I am also a student and CONSTANTLY learning. Today I had to write a paper all about our stress levels and what that has to do with our diet. I’ll save the stress chat for a whole other post but I wanted to touch on one aspect. Did you know that when we eat meat, our bodies absorb the stress hormones, the cortisol, that the animals felt before slaughter? CRAZY. But makes sense right? That’s the most stressful moment in that animals life and cortisol it coursing through their bodies. When they are killed and turned into meat, we ingest that cortisol, WILLINGLY. Dr Michael Greger, stated that when we eat meat our cortisol levels spike higher than the cortisol levels of someone who just lost a spouse. 😳 That is no joke.
I try to take it easy and not do too many in your face plant based posts but after researching all day long on this concept, I couldn’t keep it to myself. Stress and diet are the main cause of 5 out of the 6 leading causes of death in the US. 90% of doctors visit are due to stress related issues. The answers are simple. A shift in diet can be life or death. Plant foods are high energy, high vibrational foods. They give life, never take it away.

You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don't know it, all of that doesn't even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It's not like you have forever, so don't waste any of your seconds, don't throw even one of your moments away.🌈😍❤️
