I hope you read the news. The Amazon is on fire, disastrously.
Many of us have never been to Amazon, me neither. Yet we might have been to other rainforests in the world and we should have known how important the role of rainforests play to the world.
But The Amazon is different. It is the largest rainforest on earth. It produces about 20% of the world’s oxygen. It is home to millions species of flora and fauna.
I’m not a prayer type of person and here are the brief actions we could do.
-Donate to foundation or organisation which will help fight against the fire directly or indirectly
-Share with your friends and family
-Vote for politicians that care for conversation and climate change
And if any of you have been living relatively environmentally friendly by “reduce, recycle, reuse” on anything you encounter daily, like using less power or recycling paper or etc and you feel like you would want to commit more, I sincerely suggest to try stop consuming meat, especially beef. If not a full stop, then less.
For detailed and full understandings regarding the Amazon fire and what you could do, follow @rainforestalliance , or @leonardodicaprio or simply spend 15 mins googling the issue.
One step away from ignorance and indifference, one step closer to save the planet.
One person might change insignificantly, but millions of one person change significantly.
Saindo do centro de convenções. Após 13 horas de seminário, às 11 da noite a temperatura ainda estava acima de 40 graus! 😅
Leaving the convention center. After 13 hours of seminar at 11 pm the temperature was still above 40 celcius!😅
Really excited for the slow shift in seasons that summer to fall brings! It’s one of my absolute favorite times of year and favorite sensations... you too!? 🍃🐎🍂 #rrjetsets#jacksonhole 📷: @edwineversole
Tower in red 🏰❣ Did you know that even though the Red Tower was built way back in 1649, it was used during both World Wars? 😮 // 📸: @followthatplane_ ✨

Sunsets don’t have to be perfect to be amazing... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not every day can have a perfect sunset. It rained most of the day and into the evening yesterday but when I saw a small break in the clouds about 6:45 pm, I grabbed my camera bag, tripod, and phone and rushed over to a spot I’ve been eyeing for some time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thinking I knew the way and not bothering with the GPS, well let’s just say I arrived later than I wanted, it had started to rain again. Not to be thwarted from my mission that easily, I proceed down to the lake anyway. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And I’m so glad I did. I found this little hidden cove with beautifully colored rocks, some wildflowers still blooming, and a stunning view of a small island just across the water. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can just catch the sun’s glow behind the rain clouds. I think I may have found one of my go-to sunset spots. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s a beautiful and unique world even when it’s raining. Go out an explore someplace new. As always, let's take #allthesideroads together and #enjoytheview along the way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
