Vertical images are the trend now online, but you cannot beat a high res panorama for print!
This is the very first Leica stitch from our out west project (150 megapixels) and I couldn't be more astounded by the quality, color, and depth the Leica sensor / glass continue to produce at this scale. (Of course it looks awful on IG — feel free to check it out on our website) #panorama#mediumformat#leicas
🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿From My NEW ZEALAND diaries: 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
Throwback from the pristine Lake TEKAPO
Just realized that I did not share any from New Zealand in my diaries and hence sharing my anecdotes from 100% pure New Zealand. The easiest way to explore and wander around breathtaking New Zealand is to rent a car and drive around, discovering lots of picturesque gems serendipitously.
This picture was shot at my most favorite place in all of New Zealand - the Lake Tekapo in the southern island of the country, with the southern alps forming the backdrop to the lake making it one of the most picturesque natural locales on the planet.
Mount Cook aka Aoraki is the crown jewel of the southern Alps. The clouds were playing hide and seek denying me a perfect capture of Mount Cook across the lake, although the clouds helped in diffusing the sun's rays through the clouds adding magic to the sight.
I rented a car in Queenstown and leisurely drove across, stopping by the Lakes Wanaka and Pukaki (perfect view of Mt.Cook across the lake) before halting at Lake Tekapo for a couple of days to let the beauty and sight sink in. Took a helicopter flight the next day around Mount Cook and a few glaciers and that was a stupendously memorable experience.
Kia Ora 'New Zealand' to smell the nature in its pristine and perfect state.
If your a photographer it’s a must to visit places like Joshua Tree. I shoot so much Coastal Nature that it was a true treat to photograph the Desert Vibes . New locations bring new textures and light and compositions. Check out my work portfolio on my website for all my Joshua Tree photos.
Did you know you can google “best views near me” and it will show you look out points and great views to check out??! Google strikes again. I was leaving North Carolina and the sunset was incredible so i searched the best places to view it and boom- I felt like I found a scene from the Lion King. I stood in awe for awhile then took some photos that don’t do it justice. it’s crazy to me that places like this are only 2.5 hours away from Athens.
