I don’t understand how people can’t just literally keep there mouths shut cause I don’t take crap from no one. 😬 I’ll call you out and best your ass where ever and whenever I see you but if you could just back off and leave me alone I’d be able to rebuild myself and not be stuck but I guess fighting is my only option. Your not claiming victory over me because you’ll be in the ER soon enough and that’s facts 💯
The desire for free speech and expression can keep us from closing our mouths and listening to others. Mark Twain once said, “It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt.” Learn to adequately judge a situation and speak your mind at work, at home and online only when it will add value.
Maybe it’s Mercury in retrograde that’s causing fear, confusion, miscommunication and defensiveness... maybe I am just hyper aware today. Whatever the reason or cause, all I can do is stay responsible for what I do and say in response. I am responsible for my actions, responses and feelings. No one else is. When you aren’t sure what your next move should be, or how to respond/react, please take minute or a day or all the time you need and in the meantime, do nothing. You can’t take it back, you can’t un-say it. Just hold your ponies and do nothing. #donothing#mercuryretrograde#keepyourmouthshut#thistooshallpass#recovery#sobriety#lessons#onlyresponsibleforme

People will hate on you just because you are brave enough to follow your dreams and they are not.
Those who have never stepped our of fear will tell you THAT YOU CAN'T, ITS RISKY, YOU HAVE A GOOD JOB, WHY BOTHER, THERE IS ALREADY SOMEONE ELSE OUT THERE DOING THIS BETTER THAN YOU, THERE IS NO MONEY IN IT, WHAT IF YOU LOSE EVERYTHING, YOU WILL BEVER MAKE IT.
KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! Not everyone needs to know what your plans are even those who may be close to you.
Keep your mind focused, move in silence and let your actions speak for you.
Joke, no joke. “But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37
Oh boy. God has really been trying to work on me. I keep fighting for no sensible reason, as we all know that He is going to win anyway. He did create in me a stubborn will, so honestly who fault is that right?
Not only am I stubborn, but I am also mouthy. I mean, very mouthy. I demand to get the last word at all times. And if I think that I am right, well I know that I am right. I have yet to be wrong, just ask my husband.
But God has been working on me in this. I don’t always need the last word. Even if I am right, is it going to change anything? Does anybody really want to hear what I have to say? “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.” (1 Corinthians 13:1). If I strive to constantly always be right and seek nothing else, my argument will fall on deaf ears. If the only thing people hear when I speak is, “I’m right! I’m right! I’m right!”, they are just going to tune me out. I am no longer fighting for what I believe to be right, and I am fighting for myself to be “right”. Our words are a powerful thing. Before we allow words to spew out from them, we need to make sure that it is necessary. We need to make sure that our motives are right. We aren’t here just to be heard, we are here to change the world and live like Christ. And Christ had times of teaching and times of silence. “But when the leading priests and the elders made their accusations against him, Jesus remained silent.” (Matthew 27:12)
Sometimes it’s best to just remain silent.
Stay strong and God bless,
