Got some headspace after a week in the mountains. Now heading to business meetings where I'll cram stuff back in! #balance

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! It’s been a day of mostly packing as we’re getting ready to head off to Europe for a few weeks.
In honor of that, I went and edited a few photos from the last time we were in Europe (3 years ago). This panoramic is one of my favorite shots from Italy. The light was moody and I just loved finding and making this shot.
We are heading to Norway and Scotland. Looking forward to some moody landscapes. I just hope it doesn’t rain non-stop 🤷🏼♂️😂

Today’s itinerary consisted of visiting the Ukrainian history museum. Unfortunately, the displays had English translations only up until the 13th century, so as far as I could understand, the history of Ukraine skipped 800 years. I got out of the museum far earlier than expected due to not reading 800 years of history, and spent the rest of the day wandering the city and taking pictures.
If there's one trip that's left a lasting impact on me for life, it was my trip to Sapa, Vietnam.
In the pouring rain, I trekked a minimum of 25km while learning and witnessing the poverty the tribes in the Lao Cai village experience.
No heat, running water, electricity, police to protect them or formal education. Instead of currency, they rely on bartering. The nearest hospital is about an 8km trek and they rely on the materials and things around them to survive.
You never realize how privileged you are until you experience the lack of privilege of someone else. Sapa was my most favorite experience in Asia and when my website is launched, you'll get to read more about what I experienced and the beauty of Sapa.

Eerie, foggy, misty, monochromatically beautiful afternoon at Lucy Vincent.
Singapore offers some terrific 'gram-worthy' photo ops. Consider stopping by the Old Hill Street Police Station; a historic building located in Singapore's Central Area. The building's 927 windows were all painted in the colors of the rainbow during its restoration in 1997.
Zoom in, can you see?
It’s not the oldest, but this was definitely my favorite church. Another feature of Ukrainian architecture is light blue paint, which they use everywhere.
Churches here greatly enjoy the use of gold on their domes. These are the two of the major churches here which date back to the Medieval period. They’ve been modified and expanded, but they remain Byzantine on the inside. The white church with green and gold domes is Saint Sophia’s Cathedral, and the blue one with the gold domes is Saint Michael’s Golden Domed Church.
August 2017. We were staying with very welcoming and supportive new found friends Don and Patti. Don is an avid cyclist with a very cool bike. I had never touched a bicycle like this, never mind lift it with two fingers!
Sometimes you don’t need to travel far to find beautiful places 💙
Breathtaking mountain scenery with a crystal clear lake 💦
It’s all about water here (and cheese as they have a well known alpine dairy🧀) and they also have several Kneipp stations (water cures) where you can walk into the water like a stork 🙌🏻💦

Rowing a boat 🚣🏼♀️ always looks easier than it actually is 😂 definitely not one of my talents..I think next time I’ll stick to kayaking where I only have to deal with one paddle @sanjayfogarty
