Please meet @jenni.keith aka @luckylocks_indy, the woman you will want to know to fuel your new magical addiction 😘 • Helping people feel their best is Jenni’s jam, which is why she has been heartfully running her yoga studio @evolutionsyoga since 2008. Jenni has studied and practiced meditation since the very young age of 8. She lives with Rheumatoid Arthritis, so she can empathize with her client’s pain and helps them by focusing on the principles of adult mobility, whether that be for recovery or long-range flexibility. She not only cares for people, but she cares for the earth and operating sustainability. Her new studio is community funded, and 80% of it was built with repurposed materials — material waste: zilch! We love all the positive things Jenni is contributing to the world and alongside these wonderful things she does through her studio, we are proud to have her spreading that love and light through each strand of sparkle she places in your hair.

(This could be confusing, I’m talking about your bones and their structure) . Tension or compression. Some bodies will never go into certain poses. Some bodies were predisposed to be in particular asanas. . For example, day six of #WellRoundedYogis is bird of paradise pose. The first time I ever did yoga I was introduced to this pose and could achieve it immediately. . That seems unfair, I get it. It wasn’t because I am a yoga goddess sent from above to show you weird stretches, it’s because I have baggy hips that move my legs wherever I put them and octopus long arms that can bind around anything. . My body was predisposed to be bendy, it’s in my joints and my genetics. Don’t think that I don’t struggle with things on the mat. There is always progress to be made. Just take this as a reminder to not compare yourself to the yogi next to you or what they are doing on their mat. They are on their own journey. We will now meet on Sunday 9/22, which is the weekend of Fall Equinox, so we’ll explore how that affects our practice, on and off the mat. This is an intermediate/advanced practice that includes arm balances and inversions. If your practice is in a place where you know how to modify if you can’t do intermediate-level poses (like kicking up to forearm balance or handstand, deep twisting with a bind, full wheel, etc), you’re welcome to join; we just keep the poses a bit more challenging without slowing down to explain introductory steps. September 11, 2001 🇺🇸 I remember that day so clearly. I woke up, got to my office and went to the cafeteria to grab a quick breakfast as I did many mornings but shortly after returning to my desk a co-worker told me that a plane had just crashed into one of the World Trade Center buildings. We watched and listened to the events that continued that day incredibly scared and with lots of tears. I still recall how scared I was to be at work because I work for the government and no one knew what was going to happen next. We were on lockdown (that continued for weeks after the attacks). That night we continued to stare at the television with our roommates. I will never be able to forget this day and I pray that my children never have to experience something so awful as this attack was on our country. 🙏 Today we remember all those that lost their lives and their families. 💔🙏🇺🇸 #neverforget #september11 .
