What’s your defining message(s) to the world?
If you get nothing else from me, I pray that I help you understand...
God is NOT American. This nation has so influenced modern Christianity that we all believe we aren’t blessed if we don’t have a multi-million dollar entrepreneurial empire affording us fancy cars, luxe trips, and mansions that we can flaunt. Our political system would have you believe that the American Republican Party has God on speed dial and only their calls get through. STOP IT! -
People are hurting, depressed, oppressed and abused by the prosperity-grace it and forget it with no repentance and no real effort at obedience-wash your face girl and just be joyful messages.
You have people falling away from the faith or ending their very own lives (and the lives of others) because what they’re experiencing Monday through Saturday is not what they’re being taught on Sunday. They’re angry with God because He’s not delivering what Creflo promised them, never realizing that God IS delivering all of the time on God’s own promises.
Christians share in the only faith that calls itself the Good News, yet we can be some of the most miserable, hating, unforgiving, and broken people. Why? Because we keep buying into the subtle programming that God is American. Americans are BIG consumers and we want a god who will afford us the life wherein we can just consume and consume. Worst yet, we’ve spread this message to other nations on “mission trips” and “evangelizing the world.” 🤦🏾♀️
When did God’s promises become synonymous with the American Dream?
I want to leave a legacy of faith, joy, peace, healing, and helping others usher in those very same qualities in their own lives. Challenge: In 1 or 2 sentences, what do you want the world, your community, or maybe just your family to learn through your life? Answering that question may just help you understand why you’re here. 😉

🎗Are you considering online dating but opposed to meeting candidates from another town or another country? Here are 3 astute reasons to reconsider:
1) When it comes to building a bond with an online acquaintance, you may be able to learn more about your partner than the traditional get-to-know produces. Couples who share the same physical space are actually known to share less than couples in long distance relationships. “One of the greatest benefits is that you do a lot more talking and learning about each other, since you spend more time having conversations than you might if you were sitting side-by-side watching Netflix, or out running errands or doing activities together,” says @LoriGottlieb, a psychotherapist who specializes in relationships.
2) According to @TheNewRulesOfDating — distance-dating can be surprisingly advantageous in other ways like nurturing different levels of your independence. “You are interdependent versus being dependent on one another. An LDR offers a unique opportunity. You not only exercise your independence but interdependence on one another. You still maintain a sense of who you are with your partner, but also when you are on your own, and your partner is not with you. You realize that you want to be with them, and there is some level of reliance on them, but you also have a high level of comfort of operating on your own and making independent decisions outside of your relationship too. It can help create a very healthy relationship dynamic.”
3) For women, routine can have a negative impact on sexual arousal and attraction. Long distance romance can boost desire and create an exciting build up for each time you have physical contact. The operative word is ‘ROMANCE’ which we will address on a later post. Remember — “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Happy hunting!
