I saw this guy last week @bloomroomvancouver and decided to pass. But I thought about him everyday, I love his little tuft of hair! So today I went back and luckily he was still there! Sorry I haven’t posted all week, this week has been insane for me & my family. I’m so 😴 hahaha! Hope everyone has a good week ahead!
This is Fiona, my first plant acquisition after Peppy, the gal who started it all. I saw her at Home Depot, the last Fiddle left, looking droopy and small. For $20, I figured- why not try? I expected to kill this tree quickly but actually she’s thriving. She puts out leaves in groups of three. The first two are always mangled and weird looking, and the final one is perfect. This was annoying at first, but now I love it. Fiona is unique and imperfect, but she’s my first big plant and I’m proud of her 💃🏻
Check out these giant Pilea in store today. These Chinese Money Plants are an absolute fav and hard to find like this. It’s a perfect day for coffee at @stcococafe and a wander through our store. Open 8am to 1pm today. See you soon!
Just received this #oxalisregnellii replacement, the first one died immediately! However this one is beautiful and has been unfolding, I see why people call them butterflies 🦋
My Sansevieria is about to bloom! I have never seen a Snake Plant flower so this is so exciting. I am convinced this is the easiest plant to take care of. It barely needs any care, it is beautiful, & grows like a weed.
#begoniapicta in bloom..
I contacted a private collector not long ago and I succeeded in convincing him to sell me some of his'.. plants were in pristine shape and now it's in bloom for an added bonus..
Looking forward for the future of these in my own collection..
Another shelf of plants into a more organized hydroponic set up 👌🏻 These hoya have all been in leca for ages (some for over a year), but all in separate cups and containers and watering was so much work. Now, they take up less space and I only have to water one reservoir 🙌🏻
