A veces, los despistes, hacen que busques alternativas más rápidas. Se me olvidó comprar lentejas, y me gustan dejarlas en remojo, así que, compre de bote cocidas. Lentejas con verduras exprés (de bote) (5 personas). * 1 cebolla * 1 puerro * 1 pimiento verde * 3 dientes de ajo grandes * 1 tomate de pera maduro * 1 hueso de jamón * 3 zanahorias * 4 patatas medianas * 1 hoja de laurel * Pimentón de la Vera dulce * AOVE * sal * Agua *1 bote y medio de lentejas cocidas Se limpian y cortan las verduras en trozos pequeños. Se echa la cebolla, con un poco de sal, para que poche antes, con un chorro de aceite, pasados unos minutos, se agrega el pimiento, y una vez cocinado, el ajo, y por último el tomate, a continuación, una cucharada de pimentón de la Vera y se echa la sal, añadiendo un poco de agua, se tritura, si se desea. Se añaden las patatas lascadas, y las zanahorias cortadas en láminas finas, el laurel, y la punta de jamón. Se cocinan hasta que las patatas estén casi hechas, echando más agua, y agregando sal. Se lavan las lentejas de bote, y se añaden a la cacerola, y se añade más agua, si fuese necesario. Se cocina durante 5 minutos. RICE. and then once i worked on that fear a bit, i allowed myself to eat brown rice because it’s “healthy” but NO WHITE RICE. society told me it was unhealthy and would wreck havoc on my body. wtf? this past week i’ve eaten hearty white rice at LEAST once a day because i’m vibing hard with it right now. recovery and healing are pretty damn cool, no? and in this case...insanely delicious too. feed your body the foods it craves and it’ll be at peace. i’m soooo sick of food labeling (good vs bad, healthy vs unhealthy). there’s no reason to FEAR FOOD. your life is bigger than that! worry about more important things! spend time with your family! call your mom! read a book! i promise you, you’ll find peace of mind when you just let the damn rules gooooooo 👋🏼 ramble, finished. ▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️ creamy red yogurt curry (coconut-milk FREE) -1 onion, diced -2 cups homemade cashew milk -1 container @Kitehill greek yogurt -1/2 cup water -1 red bell pepper, diced -2 zucchinis, diced -1 eggplant, roasted chunks -1 cup broccoli florets -1 can rinsed and drained chickpeas -2 tbsp red curry paste -curry powder, sea salt, cumin set the oven to 350 degrees and cut the eggplant into chunks. spread on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with a generous amount of salt. let sit for 10 minutes before coating in olive oil and putting in the oven. while thats cooking, sauté the onion in oil, sea salt, curry powder, cumin, and curry until soft and fragrant. add the red curry paste and cook for another minute or two. add the veggies (not eggplant yet!), chickpeas, milk, yogurt, and water. bring to a boil and then cook at a simmer for a half hour with frequent stirring (it will reduce and get thick). add the roasted eggplant around the 20 minute mark. once it’s all reduced and thick it’s done! . . . #healthyfood #healthy #foodie #cleaneats #foodblogger #vegans #whatveganseat #wellness #fitness #healthyinspo #healthylife #glutenfree #grainfree #paleo #healthymeals #plantpower #thenewhealth #mbg #food52grams #thefeedfeed #vegancurry #redlentils #lentils #thechalkboardeats #coconut #brownrice

I had gained 23 pounds in five months and I was DESPERATE for answers 😓 . SIX YEARS AGO 😖 I needed an answer to the unexplained weight gain. I needed an answer to my constant exhaustion & fatigue. . Lucky for me, my coworkers at the time convinced me that it HAD to be my thyroid. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Honestly, I hoped it was! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ . I WANTED something to be wrong so I could have an answer & a pill to fix it 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m so embarrassed saying that now because I value my health so much. . $600 and 3 weeks of waiting I went back to my doctor and he flat out told me “Your thyroid is fine, you just need to hire a personal trainer.” . O U C H. Guys, I wanted a PILL. I wanted a quick fix to this weight gain & fatigue. 💊 . After meeting Marcus just a couple of months later, he TAUGHT me about nutrition & exercise. Böreğimsi Mücver _____________________ Malzemeler 📝 2 adet büyük kabak 1 adet patates 1 tane minik kuru soğan (veya 2-3 dal taze soğan) Yarım demet dereotu Yarım demet maydonoz 3 yumurta ( 1'inin sarısı üzerine) 1 çay bardağı mısır unu Yarım paket kabartma tozu Tuz, karabiber, kırmızı toz biber, nane, kekik, kimyon 1 yemek kaşığı zeytinyağı Susam, çörekotu Yapılışı Kabak ve patatesi rendeliyoruz ve suyunu sıkıyoruz. Soğanları çok minik doğruyoruz. Yeşillikleri doğrayıp ekliyoruz. Yumurtaları koyup karıştırıyoruz. En son mısır unu, baharatlar, kabartma tozunu ekleyip karıştırarak harcı hazırlıyoruz. Yağlı kağıt serdiğimiz bir tepsiye karışımı yayıp düzeltiyoruz. Ayırdığımız bir yumurta sarısına 1 yemek kaşığı zeytinyağını ekleyip karışımın üzerine sürüyoruz. Üzerine susam ve çörekotu serpip 180 derecede 20-30 dk pişiriyoruz. Pişen mücveri dilimleyerek servis ediyoruz. Yanına sarımsaklı yoğurt eklemeyi unutmayın. Do you roll down the aisles of your grocery store only looking for organic products? Have you ever grabbed a bag of coffee off the shelf over another because it was organic? What benefits does organic coffee have over non-certified organic? ⠀ 🍃 Certified Organic does not = no pesticides! ⠀ To be certified organic, a crop must be: 1. Produced without using banned materials and methods like sewage sludge, radiation, or genetic engineering. 2. Must be overseen by a USDA Organic Program certifying agent ⠀ Many practices and fertilizers are allowed. There are approved synthetic compounds allowed in the program. ⠀ 🍃 Most coffee is organic ⠀ Why? How? The vast majority of coffee farmers ranging from 48% in some countries like Mexico, to as high as 93% in Chilon live in poverty. They do not have the money to buy fertilizers and pesticides. The coffee often actually grows wild in parts of the world and farmers simply harvest it. ⠀ Bottom line: most coffee farmers can not afford the fertilizer and pesticides to grow their crop, and they grow it as organic as it comes. ⠀ Most farmers cannot even afford the CERTIFICATION by the USDA to be Certified Organic. It costs ok average about $1500-$3000 USD and 99.9% or more of all coffee is grown in third-world countries. Farmers cannot risk their entire livelihood spending a years’ earnings to be certified, only to POSSIBLY earn 15 cents more per pound for their coffee because it’s now Certified Organic. ⠀ Is Certified Organic coffee better quality? Nah. ⠀ There’s several variables that affect the quality of a crop: ⠀ ☕️ plant genetics ☕️ soil composition ☕️ altitude ☕️ climate ☕️ harvesting skill ☕️ plant health Etc etc ⠀ Is this to say that Certified Organic Coffee is bad? Absolutely not. We should reward co-ops and farms that strive toward sustainability and making their methods eco-friendly. Many farmers who end up becoming Certified are trying to improve their crop and business on multiple fronts, so they end up seeing an increase in quantity sometimes. Mas quando paramos pra analisar os seus objetivos com as horas que você tem para treinar tem algumas coisas que podem ser observadas: *Treinar de manhã - muito bom para quem quer perder gordura, visto que a essa hora o hormônio cortisol está mais alto e vai potencializar os efeitos do treino, além é claro de ajudar a despertar seu corpo e te deixar com disposição para enfrentar o dia. *Treinar de tarde - É o melhor horário para quem treina na academia, visto que o movimento é baixo e você tem praticamente a academia pra você! Além disso, pra quem quer hipertrofia esse é um bom horário, visto que nesse momento há um equilíbrio entre os fatores que ajudam a aumentar a massa muscular. Só cuidado pra não almoçar muito tarde pra não atrapalhar o treino e também pra não deixar aquele sono pós almoço te impedir de treinar 😜 *Treinar a noite - O horário que a maioria da galera treina. Nesse horário você tem uma melhor performance dos pulmões e mais concentração, mas o ideal é que você não treine muito perto de dormir, porque isso pode atrapalhar seu sono devido a o aumento da adrenalina e do cortisol pode ir de encontro a ação do hormonio do sono.
