Thankful for having so many supportive friends helping me on in my journey. It is not always easy to be around folks that know when your slacking or taking it easy, and I want to thank the @fandmtrackclub for helping me strive towards my goals. I hope next year is just as fun and exciting as this last year. Cheers! 🥂 #fandmtrackclub#live#healthandwellness#health#wellness

WARNING!! 🚧🚧🚧🛑🛑🛑 Sappy #transformationtuesday post:
First & foremost, ALL glory belongs to God! He's the one who gave me the strength to endure & overcome! Recently, a close friend brought this up to me & it hit me pretty deep....So shoutout & MAD RESPECT to the girl on THE LEFT... she was brave enough to start this journey, leave her comfort zone & was stronger than every single excuse!!! She pushed through every doubt, every tear, every setback & every obstacle... Small changes mixed with consistency & dedication led to big victories. It's a continual process & I'm a work in progress.... it's a marathon not a Sprint!
💕"Don't be mad about the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do."
I needed this... I think everyone needs something that takes their mind off daily worries and responsibilities. There's nothing wrong with that!! I've said this before...you can't pour from an empty cup!!! The more you give back to yourself, the more you have to give to those you love!! .....
😉 Don't wait for a date on a calendar to tell you it's time to make yourself a priority 💙
Fun fact: I have a green thumb. Although this shot is from our local Whole Foods' ‘lounge’ area, I am blessed to not only love growing plants, but also a big appreciation for all things green n’growing.
As a plant lover, I’ve always tried to surround myself with some sort of greenery.
From literally hugging trees when so inclined to historically filling my office with plants, I feel grounded when I’m around a bunch of wet dirt and branches.
I’d like to honor my grandma and mom with this inclination. Dot (my dear grandma) used to point out every plant we’d pass on a walk… even weeds cracking their way through sidewalks. My Mom has always had a house full of plants and considers a trip to the nursery akin to a trip to Disneyland.
This particular spot is a favorite of mine. Big rocking chairs surround a garden and are bordered by walls of succulents. (Joy!)
Guess I’m attracted to green spaces like this because they relax me. The air seems to cool and fill with a delightful aroma of moss and perfume. Ah… deep breath. Just being surrounded by this beauty shifts my mind from buzz buzz buzz to chill chill chill.
How about you? Where’s your happy place?

You’re hot. You’re cold. You’re happy. You’re sad. You’re wondering, “What is going on with my body?” Here are a few things to keep in mind between the ages of 46-55.
- Starting in your late 40s, you might experience mood changes, sleep disturbances, weight gain, vaginal dryness and declining interest in sex. These are all common concerns during this time and can be linked to hormonal changes. Your provider will want to explore these issues and work with you on the best plan for managing your symptoms—now and into the future.
- 51 is the average age of menopause in the US. It is defined as 12 months without a spontaneous period. To determine where you’re at in the transition, your provider will want to talk to you about whether or not you’re having regular menstrual cycles and other symptoms, such as discomfort with sex, hot flashes or trouble sleeping.
- About 20% of women will go through menopause essentially symptom-free. Another 60% will have mild symptoms and 20% will have more severe symptoms that seriously impact their quality of life. The good news is: if you have symptoms, your provider can help.
- While your OB/GYN would love to see you for everything, now is an important time to establish a relationship with a primary care provider if you haven’t already.
Tomorrow I will be swamped, but they say the day people stop mentioning your name you die again. Robert “Bobby” Orr is a driving factor for my current direction in life. He influenced many Marines and was a true warrior at heart. His death sparked my desire to bridge gaps between health and wellness and our communities. Most people focus purely on one aspect of wellness when we have several pillars that attribute to our stability. His influence and his name will never be forgotten to me or to his other brothers out there.
Hello 3rd trimester 👋🏼✨
A little update on my journey through this 3rd pregnancy 🤰🏼
As people have pointed out, my belly has officially “popped” and Baby is getting big😂❤️! .
I have been able to keep my running routine about 2-3 miles every other day. My miles are slower, much slower 😂, but that’s expected. .
I have been getting in lifts—not as consistent as I’d like—from my 8 week workout guide, but modifying things like burpees, sit-ups and anything that doesn’t feel good. I’m moving at a slower pace and feeling more out of breath, as expected. .
I am tired a lot more and that is normal, but frustrating. With 2 toddlers keeping me busy, I knew that my body would be more exhausted this time around. .
Why am I sharing this! ? Good question, it is to share that I am slowing down, but not stopping. I’m listening to my body and what is best for it and accepting that I don’t look as fit as I did 7 months ago, but I am feeling strong being able to grow another baby. .
When you’re pregnant, you are going to feel different and you’re going to gain weight and you’re going to have areas that look different and it’s hard ! it’s all normal. ❤️
All of our bodies are different, carry different, feel different and look different. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s or your own body from pregnancy to pregnancy 💪🏼
This is my journey and I know that it is temporary, and I will get back to feeling more like myself and liking what I see in the mirror, so if there is one piece of advice I have for any of my prego momma’s out there, embrace the journey and be kind to yourself. #sweatyasamother .

💖O P E N....HEART💖
💞As I was really thinking back to the time when I was just lost for words, I didn't even know how to express myself. I was afraid to open my heart to receive and to give.
💞You see when you've been hurt so many times it's hard to truly allow yourself to be open. You put up walls abs barriers because you know that there is no way I will get hurt again if I keep my guard up. There is no way that my heart will get broken if I keep these walls up.
💞But one thing I failed to realized during those times is that while I was trying to keep my barrier up to protect my heart I was still causing pain to my heart because I wasn't allowing it to heal, I wasn't opening my heart to receive all the love that the universe has for it to heal. What I realized that I was so caught up in not letting others hurt me that I was the main conductor in the situation. You see in order to truly heal you have to allow yourself to be vulnerable, you have to allow yourself to feel what you need to feel, you have to allow yourself to be open to receive the love that someone else is wanting to give you
✨Steps to an opening your heart ✨
1. Be aware when you're not opening yourself to receive
2. Be aware of the thoughts that you are creating about yourself
3. Be willing to feel the pain
4. Be willing to heal
5. Be willing to forgive not only others but also yourself
6. Be willing to see yourself for who you are in this moment
7. Be willing to move ahead
8. Be will to tear down those barriers
9. Be willing to allow others to see YOU for who you are
10. Be willing to fall back in love with yourself all over again
It’s time to Fall Back in love with yourself #openheart 💖Save this Post 💖

I feel we have so much to celebrate. It has been quite the whirlwind over @parkintegrative. Last week we celebrated our two year anniversary!
Last month we cheered on our co-founder and Medical Director @neejabakshi as she accepted @avenue_edmonton 's Top 40 Under 40 award for her efforts to change the face of the Canadian healthcare system by depolarizing health and wellness.
We had the honour of being recognized in October as the 2019 New Entrepreneur of the Year with the Strathcona County Chamber of Commerce! @shpk.chamber
Park, and several practitioners including @brandon.r.jacobs, @drnicolebroadhurst, @acu_woman, @deeyanabaydala, and yours truly were nominated in the @yegfitness awards. .
There is so much to celebrate and for a moment I'd like to breathe it all in.
