Mondays are hard. Finding something to stop your hair from falling out shouldn't be! That's why I thought I would #keepitreal and share a little secret that might help a #silversister out...
Due to a heart medication I had to start taking, my hair started falling out like crazy! It was all over everything and at the rate I was losing it, I thought I would either have huge bald spots or go completely bald and would never have the long white hair I keep hoping for 😍😊...
soooo...I did a ton of research and ordered these 3 products... #viviscal shampoo and conditioner and #biotin from #sportsresearch ...and let me tell you...they really work!! I started seeing results in less than 2 weeks! .
I thought I was imagining it at first but, my husband just told me that he no longer finds my hair on his clothes at work anymore 😂😂😂 .
And it's now almost a month and I even have new baby hair regrowth! 😱DM me and I'll show you 😍 .
To whom are you required to send a 1099?! Questions like this are one of many that burden small business owners. As a general rule, you must issue a 1099 to each person you have paid at least $600 on rent, services, prizes/awards or other income payments. However, like most things, this rule has expecting, loopholes, etc. Give us a call if you have questions!
Have you met two of our newest additions to the SPEAR team?! Martin del Prado, PT, DPT, CSAC joins us at Long Island City and Kara Kaplan, PT, DPT joins us at our Plaza Hotel clinic!
Martin grew up playing tennis, competing at the national level before experiencing a career-ending lower back injury. His love for the game and ambition to optimize sports performance led him to realize his passion for rehabilitative medicine and physical therapy.
Kara has been dancing competitively and professionally for over 20 years, and it was the determining factor in her choice to pursue physical therapy. She uses her trained eye in movement dysfunction combined with other techniques to help her patients return to a full and healthy life.
Watch Martin and Kara tell us all about why they became physical therapists and why they chose to join the SPEAR family, over at our IG stories!

𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you. 🔥
Ever since I have taken the risk of pursuing my entrepreneurial passion, I have been listening to my gut and stopped worrying about societal norms! Not only in business but also in personal goals with training and how I am living day to day. (Which I’m feeling physically and mentally stronger then I have ever been in my life)
I have completely let loose of the opinions of others and I have starting following my instinct of what naturally excites me. Since I have been open to new training styles, new nutrition, new business methods, new marketing strategies, new EVERYTHING! It can sound overwhelming but I am doing what 𝐈 𝗪𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐎 so my body is 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 it all! 😍
I am wishing y’all the same passion that has been lit inside of me! I am rooting for you! 🙌🏼
We all have it inside us. We’ve all done it. Some more then others, but we have all lent a hand to someone in need. No big deal right? WRONG!
When you do something kind for someone, not only does it make you feel great activating the Happiness Trifecta :oxytocin, serotonin and Dopamine the chemicals in the brain that boost your mood, buuuuuut you also you have no clue the positive impact you might be having on that person you’re helping. ☺️ I have helped thousands of people get out of holes in their life. At the same time I am also forever grateful for the people in my life who have helped me.
It could be as simple as helping someone study to pass a test. Giving them the confidence to excel or listening to your friend cry her eyes out because her bf broke up with her. We all have it in us to be kind. Let’s do it a little more often.
Have a great day🙌🏻❤️. We got this!

#mondaymixes pt.3 - The Black Masses are Crying [full piece in bio]
For one of my classes focused on the human voice, we were tasked with selecting a body of literature, finding all the phrases/statements that dealt with "voice" and developing a vocal piece that incorporated all those pieces. I performed a vocal piece (w/ beatboxing) comprised solely of quotes by Malcolm X. These statements highlight the struggle of challenging systems of power, identifying which voices accurately represent the "masses" and deciding what methods of engagement are most effective for affecting change.
Malcolm X, also known as el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, (may God have mercy on him) has had an immense impact on my understanding of what it means to uphold one's faith and personal principles, especially under life-threatening circumstances. He has educated me on the true power minorities have in affecting change when they no longer allow themselves to be defined or be spoken on behalf of by their oppressor. Through his consciousness of systemic racism on a global level, he was also the one who pushed me to begin exploring my own ancestral roots and the legacy of British colonialism within the Indian subcontinent.
The full list of his quotes is on Sound Cloud.
No matter how much you love them or they love you.
Don’t give in to their vision of YOUR future.
Your friends and family will most likely be resistant to your change and growth. People naturally take comfort in conformity and not change. We get used to things being a certain way.
We tend to defend our ways of life and our beliefs because we have been committed to it for so long. It is difficult to admit to have been committed to a way that might not be the best.

Win or lose,
Your response is the true defining moment.
How you respond to failure and success is critical to positive growth.
There are lessons in each. There is very little difference between quitting after failing and not improving after success. In fact it takes just as much work to maintain success as it does to overcome failure.
Watch for my new webinar “The truth about Happiness “. To be released soon
Normal isn’t always right just as different isn’t always wrong
We are comfortable with normal because we are used to it, it is a known condition and we accept things that are normal even if it’s not ideal.
We are uncomfortable with different because it is unknown and it puts us on the defensive.
Are you satisfied with your NORMAL life?
Maybe it’s time to try something DIFFERENT
