Our SOLD OUT @edmaverickmusic show in our Voodoo Room tonight! Absolutely amazing✨
I hit the jackpot, made a major success, it was a smash hit, win, triumph with rice cake I brought to the office today. Honestly I used all the 5 expressions I’ve just learned to memorize!! .
I DID upload the posts on Instagram using the official account about #celexperience which made me satisfied that I contribute to my company. Having finished cutting the video, I started to write a transcript in English to help an editor to understand what the interviewers say.
Today’s lesson is I am stronger than I thought!! Honestly, for the first few weeks, I felt like I had to catch up on all the things once I learned which made me frustrated. However now I realized everything takes time! The memos stock in my diary and word list that I bring every day with me prove that I’m growing! Even I still have a hard time completing a full sentence without stuttering, I don’t care anymore as long as I can share my thoughts and communicate with others confidently and easily.
With friendly and bubbly coworkers, open-minded students and grandpapa living in the middle town who seems like my real host family, I'm afraid of nothing! I am who I meant to be. Like the song of the greatest showman, THIS IS ME!
Filled up the new arrivals section of the bins with a long box worth of recent pick ups, including a ton of weirdo underground books! Loads of Crumb, nearly a full run of Zap, Freak Bros, Kitchen Sink, Last Gasp, and more.
Happy #ThirstyThursday! 🍻
Not sure about all of you but this week has felt like the longest week ever. 🤪 Maybe it's the weather change, maybe it's that fact that my work schedule has been stressful. Either way, I wish I had this 🏆 award winning #Michelada from @thesmokinggunsd to chill out with tonight. 😍
That's right! This beauty won Best Michelada in San Diego from @pacificsd. That's a pretty high honor in San Diego. Plus it paired nicely with my morning brunch last weekend! 🍳We had bacon pancakes and brisket biscuits and gravy. SO good! 🙌🏻
Thank you so much to all who joined us for a riveting lecture on our newest exhibit, “Ghosted: The Horton Principle.” This is our last lecture for 2019! Mark your calendars for December 15 ! Our House museum will be decked out for the holidays and we invite all to join us for our annual History for the Holidays event!
Downtown San Diego @ 3,500ft. In 1867 Alonzo Horton purchased 960 acres of what is now downtown San Diego for 27.5 cents/acre, built a wharf, and named it “New Town” to distinguish itself from San Diego’s historic Old Town. The name faded over the years but the history hasn’t. There are nearly 100 historical buildings in the 16 walkable blocks that make up San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.
So happy for happy hour tomorrow 1pm-6p! You can receive 20% any 90min massage. Book now before we fill up ✨
