I have made peace with my inner demons.
But I know how hard it is during a war with them to see yourself in a good light.
Your insecurities will batter you over and over.
Your pain will continue.
But only you have the power to say stop.
To leave the fake friends the liars the lost promises.
You are more than anyone that broke you down.

Devotional: Hope for a Bright Tomorrow.
“May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Hope in God comes from more than a belief that He exists. The Bible calls hope in God “an anchor for the soul”. It is something deep that secures you through the storms of life with confident expectation in His strength.
1. H – Hope for Help
God invites you to come to Him and boldly ask for help. The need is different for all of us. God waits to help, if only you ask.
2. O – Hope to Overcome
Friends of ours tell a story of their marriage, brought to a crisis by alcohol abuse. When they finally invited God into their circumstances, by His strength, they overcame great obstacles. Today they have an intact family that gives God a place in their home. God gives hope and help to overcome. Rather than living life as a victim, God can help you overcome the obstacles you face.
3. P – Hope for Power
Sometimes in life we find ourselves facing things that feel too big to handle. It might be a relationship struggle, a job task, finances, grief over a loss. Seeing our weakness as the very entry point of God’s strength gives access to His power!
4. E – Hope for Eternity
When we put our faith and hope in God, it not only gives us help, strength and power today, it also gives us hope for life after death. It is a confident expectation of the ultimate “tomorrow’. The God of Hope is only one prayer away.
Dear God, I have gone my own way and have put my hope in so many things that have disappointed me. Forgive me and come into my life today. Show me how to live in confident expectation of how You can impact my life, my character and my circumstances. I place my hope in You right now and ask You to make Yourself known to me where I walk. I thank you. Amen.
Thought: Do you need hope for tomorrow? Please let us know and we can have someone contact you and pray with you.

Devotional: Praying in a Crisis.
Read: Psalm 86:1-13
When life is moving along smoothly, it’s easy to say, “God answers prayer.” But a crisis can bring doubt, especially if the Lord is not responding as quickly as we might like. That’s when we may be tempted to bargain with God as if He could be manipulated into acting on our behalf. However, the goal of prayer is not to get God to do what we want but to bring our concerns to Him, trusting that He will answer in His own way and time.
Waiting on the Lord is fairly easy when we’re not facing anything urgent. But difficulties and suffering tend to make us impatient. We may even begin to find fault with God, thinking that if He truly loved us, He would intervene and bring relief.
As we seek the Lord for help, David’s prayers in the Psalms provide wonderful patterns for us to follow. He faced many dire situations and continued to turn to God. Today’s passage from Psalm 86 starts with an urgent cry for help, followed by a reminder to the heavenly Father that David belongs to Him. Then he recounts God’s character—gracious, good, ready to forgive, and abundant in loving kindness to all who call on Him (v. 3-5). These characteristics are the basis for trust.
Knowing who God is enables us to trust Him through the crises of life. Because He is faithful, we know that He will keep His promises. His holiness causes us to examine our life and repent of any sins that are hindering our prayers. And His mercy, grace, and love give us the comfort we need to endure hardship.

I count on one thing
The same God that never fails
Will not fail me now
You won't fail me now
In the waiting
The same God who's never late
Is working all things out
You're working all things out
Yes I will, lift You high in the lowest valley
Yes I will, bless Your name
Oh, yes I will, sing for joy when my heart is heavy
All my days, oh yes I will
John 3:1-21 - Will you welcome even your enemies? Jesus welcomed Nicodemus, who was a Pharisee and very influential. He came at night because the other religious leaders were against Jesus and His ministry, but Nicodemus was curious. Jesus welcomed him in and shared the core of His message: a person must be born again, God so loved the world that He sent the Son as a sacrifice, and all who love the Son will walk in the light (this last point may be playing on the fact that Nicodemus came at night). Jesus welcomed in Nicodemus and pointed this religious leader to the truth; He invited Nicodemus to believe in Him.
Welcoming in our enemies does not mean we compromise on the truth, but that we pray and hope for people's hearts to change. It means we let God change our hearts first. It means we live out "as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Rom 12:18). It means we have peace with Christ and let go of our anger towards others; we can even absorb their anger towards us because we have confessed and been forgiven in Christ. Loving enemies is one of the hardest things Jesus taught, and it shows the power of God's love. How can you expand to others the forgiveness and love of Jesus today?
Jesus welcomed in a potential enemy in hopes that he would change. It is hard for me not to get jaded or cynical; I need to be wise, but I also need to live like God can change any heart. This often happens through healthy boundaries. It always happens through prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit. Lord, help me to let go of any scorecards and help me to join in with the work You are doing in each person’s life.
I find as I tune in more and more deeply with myself and what is going on within through daily #meditation and #subtlebody#interoception practices, I follow a cycle. A pattern. My energy levels, social desires, media interests, even my daily rituals. They all flow. From within the day, week, month, seasons. .
And the more I pay attention the more I see there is a pattern. It becomes much easier to not feel down on myself for the times I want more rest when I can really acknowledge that this is just part of my flow, part of my personal pattern. We all have this. .
Next we must learn to not only tune into our own personal patterns but those of the people we love who are near to us. We may not need to know their flow as deeply as our own but just bring #compassion to our interactions by understanding that this moment is a point on their personal wave. .
From there we can acknowledge everyone around us, friend and foe, neighbor and stranger, near and far, are all in their own personal pattern of life. Flowing with their own energetic shifts. .
So how can we ever take anything personal? We’re all just on our #journey .

One of Allah's names is Al-Haleem. This means the one who always forgives and pardons without any hesitation. We persist in sin and Allah still forgives us. We sin in the worst of ways yet Allah is willing and oft forgiving. °
Good Morning Friends! It’s an incredible thought to realize we can know and experience perfect love. It only comes from God through His Son who He sent to this earth in human form. You and I have the opportunity to walk in forgiveness of our sin because of what Jesus did on the cross for us. When we experience a desire to confess our sin and follow Jesus the way the Bible instructs is to....we experience perfect love. It’s a love that we can then share with fellow believers in the faith. Read about it in the book of First John. #godsperfectlove#jesusinhumanform#1stjohn#forgiveness#discipleship#reviveourhearts#discipleher

Amo demais @adrianovottas.coach .
