I wanted to share my self esteem focusing on when I felt my best physically, mentally, and spiritually. This was a homework assignment in my fitness group..this was me back in 2013 when I was on a successful path to a healthier me. I felt in control, beautiful, proud, confident, and unstoppable. Then came some life changes that lead me to gaining 100 lbs on a year’s time. Yep...that’s right, 100lbs. Since then, it’s been an up and down journey.
When I start going backwards, I become a recluse. I feel ashamed for letting my hard work go to waste for 5 minutes of empty satisfaction that comes from junk food. After I was dangerously close to 400 lbs, I felt worthless, like a failure, disgusting, and unworthy.
This year has been up and down, but lately it’s been more on the up and up. I needed this assignment to remind myself that the girl in these photos are not gone forever. She’s still deep down somewhere, dying to come out. When she does, I ain’t letting her go. .
Snips of my 20 min workout from today. In between each exercise I jumped rope for 30 secs then took a 20 sec rest then went to the next workout! 👌🏾 I wasn’t motivated to workout at all today, but I’m so glad that I did. I feel great. 🤗

34 week bump update! Starting to feel like the end has to be near soon! Not sure how I’m going to make it another 6 weeks 😅baby is still measuring big and we have a growth scan scheduled for July 2nd to see just how big he/she is. We had our diaper party over the weekend and celebrated my 30th birthday a big thank you to everyone who came out and spoiled us and our little one 💙💗

For the next 6 months I’m focusing on accomplishing some major goals. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 We’re halfway through the year and this is the time to grind even harder. 💪🏽🔥 No distractions. No dead weight. 3 days off from my program and back at it today!
Two days were planned rest days but yesterday I was feeling sick so I listened to my body and took another rest day.
Feeling better today and glad to get back after it! 💪🏼
Had an ultrasound on Tuesday and baby is up to 3 pounds 😍 still feeling fantastic!
