Today was a sweatpants kind of day and I'm so proud of it. Being a mom and a wife keeps me busy. I don't need the added pressures of feeling like I can't take a day off. I tend to dress how I feel, and today felt like sweatpants ☺️
Today is a milestone for me, and I bought a $575 evening gown to celebrate (I only paid $7.99, but that is another story)! Do I have a place to wear it? NOPE! But, I am just celebrating myself....every fabulous inch of me. I NEVER thought I would be in the place that I am....loving every single aspect of my life...including myself and my body. A big part of the abuse I suffered was comparison to other women and NEVER being enough...and honestly, this was often worse than the physicalabuse. I was always too fat, too thin, too muscular, but not muscular enough. Never as pretty as the ex, never as hot as the current person I was being cheated on with....you get the picture...I simply couldn't win and by that point I was entirely too beat down to demand any better. I was always striving for perfection...but, today I have never felt more comfortable in my own skin. I realize it was never about me...it was about their insecurities. I am 10lbs heavier than I have been in a long time and I LOVE every single lb of it....I feel like a woman and I am here for it! It feels good to embrace yourself and love every inch of yourself. If you are going through a hard time....keep fighting! If someone is telling you aren't enough....you know exactly where to tell them to go! #yourbestlifeever#yourbodyisatemple#loveyourself#embraceyourcurves#doyou#behappy#thatdresstho#buythedress#milestones#lifeistooshort#lifeisgood#health#healthymind#selfcare#selflove#selfrespect
So. The pics on the right are their faces after they taste my super sour Grim Reaper snoball with extra sour spray on it........ I love it!!!! Needless to say, I don't have to share ;) And this is what makes the world go around! How boring would the world be if we all liked the same things!!!💁 We were alllllll created to be unique; so, do YOU!!! Do NOT conform to whatever or whoever others think you are 'supposed' to be. The right people, the right tribe will love you for YOU❤
ARE YOU LIVING THE EXACT LIFE YOU WANT?
Not yet? .
I suspect there will be few women (or people for that matter) who would say differently. Because somewhere deep down we all know that there is "something" holding us back.
The difference between those that get there in the end and those who don't is knowing what that "something" is. .
That "something' is quite simply knowing the steps to guide us and keep us accountable in the strive to live our best life.
And I would love to share them with you.
💥Step One: See it.
This is about as "airy fairy" as I get.
But if you cant see where you want to be there is no way you'll get there. This is harder than it seems because our dream lifestyle can often look quite abstract and lacking in detail. So NAIL it down. In every gritty detail. If it's material things you are after what do they look like, if it's a healthy body what does it look like..If it's a life of freedom and travel what does that look like?
💥Step Two: How close are you already?
To make this work you need to make this realistic, a good healthy dose of confidence goes a long way.
Do you already own some of the things you want? Are you already working hard and making progress on your fitness/health goals?
Have you travelled somewhat already?
Look closely at your life and what have you done thus far to help you get there. Be grateful and appreciate.
💥Step Three: Change your actions.
Look critically at the moves you are making in life. Do they need to change? If your meal plan or fitness programme isn't working, do you need to change it?
If your not making financial gains, are you working hard enough, smart enough, can you change what you DO with your money? Measure your action against your vision.
💥Step Four: Check back.
We are human beings. Which by nature means we evolve. Check back on your vision, is it the same? How are you tracking? Remind yourself regularly what your picture LOOKS like. .
Don't let it get stored away as just a dream, otherwise that's exactly what it will always be. .

Keeping those hormones niiiice and balanced 😉. I know a lot of people swear by calorie counting and intense exercise, but when you have a condition like PCOS, you really have to be careful with what you do and how you do it. In some ways it has been both a blessing and a curse, but it has truly forced me to take care of myself in ways I would have never done so previously. I guess sometimes we need those wake up calls 😝
I can’t ever forget the team I came up with but new city, new goals. #imarealone#doyou

I recently saw a post comparing “how to be a parent” in 2019 vs 1982. It lists all the things we “should” be doing. It’s supposed to be funny, but it also serves as a good reminder of how much we expect new parents (and parents in general) to do. And in turn, all the unnecessary added stress and pressure while they’re trying to learn their baby and figure out how to be the best parent they can be. .
Take a few minutes to think about it - what did YOUR parents have when you were growing up? They didn’t have all these fancy apps and gadgets like we have now. So guess what they had to do? They had to figure it out by listening to their babies and doing what they thought was best. .
The reason I decided to chat about this was because I’ve gotten this one piece of advice over and over again since Tallulah was born - “don’t hold her all the time” because she’ll get spoiled or my favorite “I’ll create a monster”🙄 .
Our babies go from being in our womb, all nice, warm and comfy for 9 months to coming out into a cold, loud world full of things they’re not familiar with. It’s going to take them time to adjust to being on the outside. And if that means that Tallulah wants to be held because it comforts her you bet your ass I’m going to do it. If I want to hold her while she sleeps so I can stare at the baby I brought into the world, I’m also going to do that. She’s only this little once.
At the end of the day, you have to do what works best for YOU and YOUR family. Not what works for your friend, your cousin, or your grandma. What makes the most sense for you, your baby and your family. So follow whatever instincts you have, they’re there for a reason♥️
The best #beauty investment you can make is your #skincare. It is the foundation of everything you put it through, expose it to and layer upon it. If you want #flawless makeup, it starts with good skincare. Want to avoid #acne breakouts, blemishes and blotchy skin, again, skincare is where you should start. Being consistent with your #skincareroutine is just as important as the right products. Products come down to not the promised results, but the integrity of quality ingredients that are expertly culminated to work together in a formula that ensures the desired effects. #bellaschneiderbeauty products are an investment you can trust to pay you back through the amazing look and feel of your skin, everyday!
It’s time to Brené Brown your life and release the shame and guilt. Your humility and piety and fake shyness aren’t serving ANYONE, especially you.
It’s safe for you to be you, live your life, and do your thing.
So get lit up about what lights you up and go LET THAT LIGHT SHINE!

The scale is a big ol’ LIAR.
If you need a reason to stay OFF the scale, to stop obsessing over that number and to stop beating yourself up over it, well here it is👆🏽
This is not just another "before and after photo".
It represents so much more than that📸
These are my results after finishing the first phase of my new program. The total body inches I lost far outweigh the importance of the pounds I lost. Sure, it's great to see that number go down, but I have struggled with the scale most of my life. I used to focus too much on that number that pops up on the scale after cringing getting on it😖
However this time, it is not about the number.
I am stronger and I am smaller.
I am more defined and toned.
My clothes fit better.
I FEEL good about myself (and let's be honest, who doesn't get excited when they don't have to suck their stomach in to see abs?) 🤷🏼♀️
Why am I sharing this?
I share this with you because I not only want help and inspire others, but it also helps to hold me accountable.

Bring on Phase 2 💪🏽👊🏼
Workout!!! In this video I am using 8 pound weights because the reps are higher. I also did 1000 steps on the stair master first to warm up the legs. Fierce outfit by @carbon38 .... discount code ASHLEYMOND20. 😘
1.) inner thigh ball squeeze with bicep curl (20 reps) wrap that transverse so the lower back does not overarch.
2.) Hip extension off the ball with legs in line with the hips. Add a tricep extend when hips go down to the floor and then internally rotate the inner thighs together ( 20 reps)
3.) Oblique twist on the ball. I am pushing into the weight for a tactical cue for me to add stability through my upper body. ( 16 reps each side) Think about teaching your armpit towards your need so your adding thoracic rotation while also thinking about the opposite hamstring glut for lower body stability.
4.) Elevated Side Lunge on the ball with hammer bicep curl to shoulder press.... I got a cramp in my hip because I wasn’t using my transverse and hamstring glut on that elevated side enough... I’m not perfect... but you get back up and do it right the 2nd time. Your body gives you feedback, so listen to it. (16 reps each side)
5.) Shells on the ball; the higher up the ball the easier it is..... but it’s never easy. Lol ( 15 reps)
6.) Probe hip extension on the ball with knees apart, heels together, toes apart. (30 reps)
7.) Supported Extension on the ball. You can always put your feet into a wall for extra support and or feedback. Move your hands down the ball low enough to not crunch your lower back. I had to move after first rep to insure lower back length.
ENJOY! Message me with questions or concerns.
This body is still foreign to me.
Years of being told I’m too this and too that, being told I’m not pretty enough, being called names to my face and behind my back...it takes its toll.
But, today is different. The transformation has made me look back with pride that I made it to where I am; made it to the person I am at this moment.
I used to be so self conscious of how I looked, how people looked at me. I would always wear clothes that were bigger so I could hide behind them. Now, it’s their opinion, not mine.
Self confidence is what you see now, whether this new body is still foreign or not. I’m still going on my journey and I’m perfectly perfect with my perfection that I have along with the support that I have behind me on the way.
