Was able to get these together amongst a list of other things 🙄😵 My only savings grace in the midst of all my hell is that my little guy eats everything i cook. Never a battle to eat. Not only that, he loves vegetables, raw or cooked. I watch him in amazement at times. His idea of a snack is cucumbers & peppers! No complaints by me #iamblessed 🥰 I was originally planning on a simple involtini with spinach & ricotta. Decided to add ground beef & a whole lot of seasoning. Rolled my eggplant slices & drowned in sauce. Almost like a cabbage roll or wrapped mini meatloaves with a Florentine kick! After a long bake, Topped with provolone, parmesan & Romano cheese. Lovely. This is my idea of opening the fridge , freezer & just cooking from the heart. Comfort. I enjoyed 3, standing up over my stove, in a rush to get food down, onto the next task, as usual, i’d love to sit at my kitchen table & eat a full meal...one day 🤪🙈 I have no interest in participating in the week ahead but unfortunately thats life! No choice...One day i may attach a body camera & live stream my life. Didn’t Jim loser Carrey make a movie about that? Some people need to understand that what looks great on the surface may not be a life they could remotely handle! I’ll tell you one thing, after each passing day i see how & i why i’ve become the 💪🏽strong Bitch i am 🖕🏽 #givealittlelove#judgemenot#bitchmode#dontcare#eggplant#involtini#homemade#mykitchen#italianinthecaribbean#ricotta#cheese#saucy#spinach#mytoddler#whatmytoddlereats#cucinamargab#vegetables#notvegetarian#sundaynight#whydomypicslooksoblurry#comfortfood#italianfood#italiancooking#ilovecooking#provolone
Lead Dioxide Powder
Just what the title states. It is PbO2. I had a bunch of lead chloride powder stashed away needing to be processed for recycling hazmat. I am against releasing toxic heavy metals into the environment which is why I handle toxic substances and post pictures on Instagram.
Lead Dioxide is a strong oxidizer and I have no idea what I will use it for if I do. I don't want to release lead into the environment so using it as an oxidizer for any energetic reactions which can't be contained is off limits.
Lead Dioxide can be created using lead chloride and mixing it with sodium hypochlorite. I created mine with a similar compound which needed to be ran through electrolysis of a heated solution containing solid lead chloride and a saturated solution of bleach crystals mixed with sulfuric acid.
The really potent stuff removed from the electrode was heating up violently when exposed to air as well as the solids releasing heat and smoke when poured out of solution. I treated the unreacted sludge with several rises and then heated to dryness under argon. This batch is probably crap for use as a reagent. I was experimenting without a guide so all that mattered was being safe and having fun .
