Toby is a sweetheart who is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling with his human friends. He is good with other female dogs and can be a little more picky about which male dogs he likes. He is curious about cats since they are an unknown for him. He is about 55 pounds with a medium length coat since he is a purebred german shepherd. Toby loves to play at 1.5 years old. His adoption fee is $225. He is already crate trained and house trained. He is eager to please and loves to learn. Toby will blossom with further training and will need a structured home environment with an adopter that understands the GSD breed. He is completely vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. “Into the Wild” One of my best friends serves in the United States Military and out of all of the stories he has told me there is one that I’ll never forget..
During a training exercise at WestPoint, NY the cadets had to go on a 20 mile hike carrying a 60lb pack. Now for the larger people it wasn’t as hard but it wasn’t easy. At some point along the way fatigue began to set in amongst the smaller cadets. I guess at one point there was one cadet in particular that was crying and complaining. -
The Sergeant supervisor noticed it and went over to the young man and asked him why he was crying. The cadet responded, “ I’ve never felt this pain before in my life.” The sergeant responded, “Son, you are going to be an officer in the United States Military. In a fire fight everyone is going to be looking at you for encouragement. YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO LOOK WEAK, FEEL WEAK, OR BE WEAK.” -
Although, this story pertains to the military you can still use that same mindset in your everyday life. Optimism is a powerful thing. Stay optimistic my friends🤙🏻
