Inverted Rows?! Do you love these as much as we do? Our instructor Allie kept practicing after taking a Bar Move class..here are some tips! •Under handed grip of the barre
•Step your toes against the wall
•Soften your knees, grip your glutes, bend at your waist •Extend back until your arms are ALMOST straight and your instructor will lead you through this biceps sculpting posture improving exercise!

Do you ever feel like you could do child's pose forever?
I often hear my students whisper "yessss" under their breath when I finally put them into child's pose after a long back/glute/plank/pushup series. Sometimes the body truely craves this position!
If you've been non-stop all week/weekend, drop down and get your child's pose on! Let your forehead rest on a blanket or use a couple pillows/blankets to prop your head up if you don't quite reach the floor.
Take long deep breathes in and out, relax all of your muscles and try not to think about anything but your breath and how good you feel 🌬️👍🏼
I remind my classes, ALL THE TIME, to take a second to JUST BREATHE. Taking a breath when things get tough, can completely change the outcome of a situation. So take a few minutes each day to breathe in a new perspective. . .and exhale away all that bad stuff!✌🏼

#PreNatalAbs ✨ I did a variation of these #PilatesAbs exercises through out my entire pregnancy and it truly helped keep my abs strong, so much so that I could FEEL myself using my abs to help in pushing during my second delivery. This is sped up, so go slow and controlled and remember to use your breath, exhaling on the hardest part when your abs contract. A few tips:
▪️Lift your head, neck and shoulders - this will immediately engage your abs. Still not sure if you feel it? Lift up to your shoulder blades or sports/bra strap.
▪️Go heavy on the reps, 16-32 reps per variation, aiming for at least 5-10 mins total
▪️If your neck gets tired, rest it for 2 seconds, then lift up and continue
▪️ I’m using a #pilatesstick attached to the barre (used in our Xtend Pilates Stick class), but you can also go without this and just pump your arms. Or you can use a theraband tossed over a railing or dresser drawer or closed door handle, with your head closest to where the band is attached (think if I flipped around here, with my head closest to the barre)

WELL, -I help woman with their confidence -I teach LIVE BARRE classes locally about 3-5x a week -I support a group of women who sorta lost themselves in being a mom and wife and all the “things” -I help women believe in themselves again and get their confidence back -I help women find their purpose -I lead a team of fitness and nutrition coaches who help others do the same thing - helping just one person at a time. -I provide a safe space for women to be really authentic and there is zero judgement only a sisterhood of support and cheerleaders all getting to real similar goals. All like minded. All ages and walks of life. -I share my FAITH in GOD and help women figure out their life (HIS) assignment -I workout daily and check in with my virtual TEAM bc we hold each other accountable. -I help women find their HAPPY self again! #getUnstuck

Sneakers and weights, looks normal right?? Except I workout barefoot so why am I holding sneakers 👟 turns out that these workouts require lighter weights than what I have so I got creative and used shoes as my light weights yesterday 😂 —
I mean it when you can do these workouts from anywhere. You don’t have to invest in your own weights, you can just get creative and use what you have around the house 🏡 —
