Experience Labor Day Weekend La Vegas 2019 the right way! 👌
I will be honest with you, I always struggled to find gym wear that not only hold me in place, as so to speak, but also “weight training proof”. I had my old @hm leggings for years and they lasted, thank you H&M! But it was time to change and the search began... I looked at a lot of brands, and then I came across @bejuststrong@juststrong brand! I gave it a go and I’m obsessed with my leggings now they are squat proof, sweat proof, high waisted with a lot of support. I also find it important brands objectives and goals. With Just Strong it’s all about strong women and empowerment 💪🏻 #juststrong#juststrongclothing#juststrongwomen
The eight short-listed charities for the Lighthouse 2 Lighthouse Walk 2020 gave their presentations to the interested walkers and sponsors on Wednesday 14 August at United Church.
Each NGO gave a brief description of their organisation and what they would use the money for should they be selected.
It was also announced that South African netball player, Vanes-Mari du Toit, will be the official ambassador for the 2020 walk and Nicolette Botha will again be the patron.
Registered walkers will vote for their favourite charities and the top two charities will be announced after 26 August. The first practice walk in preparation of the official walk (12-15 March 2020) will take place on 15 September and is 22km.

MEET OUR AMBASSADORS
Meet @fud360, he is a @madrockclimbing and @vertigogear ambassador!
We asked him some questions so you could get to know him better!
▪️Name and nickname:
Adam Ludford - I haven't had a nickname for a very long time, guess that comes from being a bit of a geezer (i.e. old dude)
▪️What fueled your passion for climbing?
Fueled, or fuels? I have no idea what fueled my passion, I just really liked hanging out with friends outdoors and climbing was really fun. Who really knows where an addiction starts. I guess I really started to feel the drive to get better when i noticed that I was getting better and wondered how much I could do. What fuels my passion now? Just how much I love climbing and where it takes me. I also really like the improbability of always trying to get better. I'm looking to see if I can keep going and keep improving, even though I'm getting older
▪️What are your focus/goals in climbing currently and why?
To have fun. Or is that too cliched? I'm pretty much amped on bouldering, but would like to see if I could climb a hard route or two
▪️Who is your climbing inspiration?
Jeepers. Anyone who is getting out and climbing, pushing themselves to get better. I'm more inspired by normal people getting stuck in than any pro or kid with loads of time. Normal Joe's who have to work, or take care of a family but are still pushing and putting in the time. People like @harrysefotos, or @pbrouard@vanderningo - They are all legends to me
▪️Claims to fame?
What, besides the fact that I can lick my nose? I don't really have any special skills besides being stubborn and not being able to give up. Is having terrible skin something I can add?
Besides that, I have won the boulder nationals twice, and competed at the World Games in Wroclaw, Poland, and the World Championships in Paris
