SHOULDERS + CHEST + TRIS! So I just changed my split around(still hitting every muscle group twice a week) but pairing shoulders with legs was just too much and hard for me to keep up with- Legs NEED their own day for me! 💀 Especially because I have been doing a lot of heavy compounds lately! Really love pairing shoulders with my chest day(ya hit a bit of front delts in Chest so makes sense!) .
Sometimes the plan changes, but the goal remains! Don’t be afraid to change it up to work better for you/your life/your goals! Sometimes I think people get caught up in having to have this “ideal” routine, have to go to the gym a certain number of times in the week or they won’t make progress, when in reality- if it’s hard to make work(I’m talking being realistic- not just making excuses out of convenience) within your lifestyle or your feeling beat down from it everytime, it probably isn’t going to be enjoyable and will bring more stress than the whole purpose- to feel better! 1️⃣ Floor Presses 4x8-10
2️⃣V-Bar Close Grip Bench Press 4x8-10
3️⃣Plate Squeezes Superset: 10 to the bottom, 10 to the middle, 10 to the top (If you use 2 smaller plates instead of one big one, it helps focus more on the squeeze) x4
4️⃣Dips: 2 sets of 10 and 3rd set drop weight/or add more weight for assisted and AMRAP (I dropped to just body weight for set 3 and repped it out till failure)
-Superset # 5&7
5️⃣Cable V-Bar Overhead Press 4x10-12
6️⃣Leaning Dumbbell Lateral Raises 4x10-12
-Superset # 7&8
7️⃣Cable Bent Over Rear Delt Flys 4x10-12
Needing a revision surgery is the worst feeling. In the event you need corrective surgery, you must take steps to ensure you get the best results the second time around. The key components to a successful recovery are: 1) having the right compression and 2) starting MLD ASAP. Even if the revision is done to a small area you still need proper compression to control swelling and prevent fibrosis. This amazing patient followed my recovery instructions to the T. Although uncomfortable and not the most convenient, he kept his abdomen compressed 24hrs everyday for the past 4 weeks, avoided intense cardio, and did self MLD 2x/day for 10mins. His results are gorgeous. We ultimately choose what we decide to make our craft. Many half ass things, maybe because they aren’t in their desired field etc, but either way whether you are on the road to your passion, or are already following your path, our pride in our work will determine what kind of person we ultimately are. Trying to strengthen the #hamstrings . I’m not performing the exercise correctly yet. But refuse to give up. I’m quad dominant, and I used to jump a lot . Felt a little out of shape with the jumping today, but I had neglected plyos and jumps lately. Exercise and fitness is a very interesting journey, that you have to adapt to your season (age) , your health, same phisical and spiritual . Killed it squatting last night with my bro @thabigdog32 ! 🤘 Did a powerlifting to volume session which was actually pretty fun until the volume part.... 😥 Showing my top sets with heavy singles first. Managed a single with 405 which was fairly easy, then failed 415 (mental mistake), then redeemed myself with another single with 405 right after. Honestly my last set with 405 I really dug deep for! Smh for not doing that with 415 because I felt I legit had it.... would've been a PR for bodyweight too! 😢 lol 😅
