My mother's creativity. We parsis make these glass bead torans, as they're called, to hang over all the doors of our homes. Traditionally, a cord is stitched on and then small rings are stitched onto the cord to hold it up on nails. We weren't finding cord which matched well enough. So I suggested we could crochet the loops on. She said, we'll crochet the whole Toran and she did it too. This thing is 5 feet long to specifically fit my bedroom door.
Mothers are really a different species.

A traditional Italian pastry consisting of a deep fried dough topped with powdered sugar and filled with custard and amarena cherries.
These delicious desserts are made to celebrate San Giuseppe or St. Joseph’s Feast Day March 19
They are traditionally made in this way but now days many people have created them differently. Such as baking them instead of frying or adding different fillings inside.
Today I made mine baked and filled it with a homemade vanilla pastry cream and a tart three berry jam. To. Die. For 😍
Buona Festa Di San Giuseppe! ♥️
