Paper Dome ( #桃米紙教堂) is a scenic spot in Puli. It is a temporary church building constructed using paper tubes as structural elements. It was designed pro bono by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban ( #坂茂). In this painting, artist Sun depicts the graceful church building, the pond with blooming lotuses, and the forest in the mountain. His rendition of the Paper Dome makes it look like a fairyland.

Check out the new Toilography video from the abandoned Qianyue building in Taichung, Taiwan. I travelled there last year to see the rooftop restroom - it was such a cool place to explore not only for the toilets but to see how local street artists have essentially claimed the derelict building as their own.
