📓What is Productivity?🤹♂️
I usually go to #school from Monday-Saturday all day, and then Sunday is my chill day. I always plan to do something nice but I usually end up just walking around the house and playing computer games etc.
This makes no sense, I live right by a lake, I have kayaks, a paddle board, bikes, a telescope, books, everything I would want to have a fun day. Yet I still just do nothing, searching for entertainment rather than pleasure.
That’s not productive.
I think that productivity is finding #happiness. We get happiness when we get closer to our goals by working hard, but also when we are doing something enjoyable. Watching your favorite TV show or playing video games is enjoyable, but sometimes I think we find ourselves not enjoying them, but just looking for entertainment to pass the time.
It seems like the American way to work hard all week and then get a 6pack and be junk all weekend. Do something you actually enjoy this weekend. Be #productive.
Spending time with your friends, go outside, do what makes you happy. Sitting around staring at my phone doesn’t make me happy but I still do it, so this Sunday my #pledge is to go kayaking at the lake.
Additionally, I think that wasting #time looking for entertainment doesn’t make you less burt out for the next week, it just keeps you in the same state. When you enjoy yourself and you’re happy, you’ll be ready to have a great week and get 7 days closer to your #vision.
That's true. I'm here for you. For the past 2 days I realized how important this is that us, highly sensitive persons, support each other.
I've been through hell before I finally realized "Oh I'm a highly sensitive person".
The more I embrace it, the more I can reap the benefit of being it.
And you? How do you deal with it? But first, do you realize how sensitive you are?
Meaning, that you are not broken. And that if you feel horrible, that's only because you're operating like a non highly sensitive person. Period. But this - in itself - can really be disastrous.
TO DO LIST 😉 * Acknowledge you're highly sensitive (take your time, that's ok) * STOP right now to operate like a non highly sensitive person * Put self care on top of your to do list.
More than being a mindset coach, I'm here to help highly sensitive person dealing with the pressure of operating in a world where people usually don't know how to deal with high sensitivity, whether they are highly sensitive or not.
What's the biggest pressure you're suffering from now?

Take care of yourself and have a beautiful day ❤️
