It is worth immediately pointing out that in isolation, these pastries are not entirely optimal for your functional health. Generally they are calorie/sugar dense and probably contain refined/preservative derived ingredients. That said, what would life be without a cinnamon swirl or a croissant. Note the abandonment of a question mark... Because calculated moderation of anything is not going to significantly impact key health markers.
Just like any food, the items above can have a place in a balanced, supportive diet. And though they are fairly bereft of nutrient density, they are still items of food with their own nutritional individualities such as taste and texture. The latter being key markers for enjoyable acting experiences.
Instead of labeling these types of foods as evil or universally bad, it’s a better idea to view the nutritional properties that they represent before deciding if (and how often) they can fit into your diet.
For fat loss, it is worth pointing out that regularly consuming 250-350 calories from a few bites of food lacking meaningful protein/fibre values may not be the best idea if consistent adherence to a calorie deficit is the aim. However, if accurately calculated in to an organised, lucid, enjoyable diet, any calorie dense item can be enjoyed in moderation.

#ABOUT MUCUS THE MONSTER
So many times,vocal performances are highly disrupted by excessive mucus on the vocal folds. For the voice to perform well,a thin line of mucus is required to give fluidity in the singing process but when its heavy,it becomes a problem. When/if you have upper esophageal irritation(like reflux), bio irritants, allergies and asthma and you may see chronic, persisting thick mucus which affects voice control and quality. Temporary comfort is gained by clearing the throat but when done overtime,can cause another level of harm.
For you to be on the safe side,always take extra care of the voice ( especially during singing seasons) by eating right. Below is a list of YES & NO foods as regards mucus formation in the throat area;
YES FOODS : Fruits,Veggies,Dark greens,Turmeric,Ginger and Honey
NO FOODS : Eggs,Meat, Cereals, Pastries, Jam,Jellies, Chips,fried food and anything baked in an oven.
