So here’s what will happen when you leave a nasty or negative comment on someone’s post, that may have had no real relation to it in the first place and your two cents triggered one of my pet peeves 💁🏻♀️ .
Now, I will forever bring up nutella to make a point, and I don’t even eat it that much. Because some douche decided it was “bad”. You did it mayyyte, you are now the reason more people will hear me speak of Nutella #backfired .
So, let’s have a comparison, do YOU prefer to have the ‘real thing’ such as Nutella? OR an alternative brand, such as nutvia? And why? What makes you choose one over the other? .
OR, another common option, do you just have the fries? Or do you opt for sweet potato fries? And WHY? Is it taste? Or do you believe they’re better for you? .
I’m curious. What do you choose over the ‘real’ thing? (I say ‘real’ thing quite loosely here) .
*disclaimer: these were the only variant options we had in our household. Otherwise, I would’ve used nutella and nutvia 💁🏻♀️
In today's lunch box , 🔹Lobia Sabzi / સુકી ચોળી નું શાક ( Adzuki beans if you are feeling oh so fancy 😉) 🔹 Carrot Koshimbir 🔹 Buttermilk ( with rock salt, cumin powder and dried mint ) 🔹 Fulkas🔹 Mamra and nuts and dried fruits for snack boxes. 🔷 ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕡 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕟𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕓𝕖𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖 : Soak Lobia. Roast a couple of handfuls of peanurs, grind and store. Temper / Season Mamra. Pack the snack boxes. Knead dough for the Fulkas. 🔷 𝕃𝕠𝕓𝕚𝕒 𝕊𝕒𝕓𝕫𝕚 : Soak Lobia overnight. In the morning drain the water, rinse and set aside. Puree 2 medium tomato. In a pressure cooker, heat some oil and make a tempering. I added mustard+cumin seeds and asafoetida. Add the tomato puree and let it cook until the raw smell goes away. Then add masalas of your choice. I added salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and Roopak Rajma Masala ( #notsponsored ). Add water and cook until soft and fully cooked. Let the pressure release naturally and finish with coriander leaves. 🔷 ℂ𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕠𝕥 ℙ𝕖𝕒𝕟𝕦𝕥 𝕂𝕠𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕞𝕓𝕚𝕣 : Make a tempering of mustard seeds, curry leaves, Urad Daal and asafoetida. Add cubed carrots and cook for a couple of minutes. Take it off the heat and let it cool. Then add salt, cumin powder, coarsely pound peanuts, chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Done! .
Let’s see what a teeny tiny $1.50 jar of yoplait yogurt tastes like .... hmmm... well at least it’s cute...
Had a much more relaxing day today than last Sunday..
I was running on one hour’s sleep after my Calgary gig and rolled out my new travel yoga mat to do some stretches before heading out to @sxsw . First time using it after buying untried online. Works great and doubles as protection for my music gear in the suitcase! Bigups @gaiam crew! Will be taking this with me everywhere! #djlife#travelyoga#notsponsored
