Whoever had the great idea to exercise this morning should burn in hell 🥵🥵🥵 Oh, right! That was me!! Never mind!🤣🤣 Boy am I out of shape! It’s been forever since I’ve exercised and somehow today just seemed to be a good day to do it
One day at a time ... first race is in exactly 90 day 🙈🙈 One day at a time .. we got this!
“Why do you have to lift so heavy?” My husband asked this a few weeks ago when I was talking about increasing my squat weight. I wanted to respond with the good answer, the non-diet culture reason, but something else jumped to my mind first — “because lifting heavy weights is the only way to change my body”
It was a quick, honest answer, and t took me by surprise. I like to think that I’m so far past eating/working out from this perspective but it can still creep up on me because it’s a PROCESS
Since that conversation, I’ve taken a step back from workouts, doing a lot more walking and working out how I want to, not following any kind of plan or split. It’s what works for ME. It’s important for me to make sure I’m not working out from a punishing/fear place but from a life giving and joyful place! Working out can still have a place in my life, but I always have to remember to check in & ensure I’m not putting more importance on it than needed!

Whether you’re heading out to a gathering or hosting one of your own, arm yourself with a dish that works with your nutrition plan/goals. There are SO MANY tastey options that will be both a hit with your friends AND help keep you on track 🙌🏼

Always are, always have been. I feel like so many people aren't told this enough and feel like we have to prove something, to prove we have value and worth. But you already are enough.
Not feeling like I'm enough stopped me from doing things, built insecurities, but I found that to break down these barriers I had to take that leap. Being a youtuber was one of many, and although it's not everything I expected, I've found myself to keep proving myself wrong and removing labels I put on myself. I am enough and you are too.

It’s easy to fall off the wagon, and it’s a quick downward spiral. Yesterday I had McDonald’s for lunch, a beer at dinner and then went to bed soon after dinner. Today I told myself I’d skip the gym. Well when I got home and showered and then got on the scale....no bueno. So I got dressed and went back out to the gym! I’m not letting myself deter me from my goals.
