This is usually me. A blur of nonstop motion throughout the house doing all the things. Not because someone told me I had to, but because knit together deep inside of me is the devotion to take it all on - the belief that I must put my needs aside for all the little feet that run the halls of our home. There is so much “to do” that there really hasn’t been room for me. The whole idea of pouring from an empty cup - I’m learning it can’t be done.
This weekend however is a nice change of pace. There is a shift happening over here.
We hosted 24 female photographers in the studio yesterday. An environment of learning, growing, teaching... so much good energy. And I’m finding there’s plenty of room for them, and for me.
Have you met Beau? As you can see he's a pretty shy little guy 😂. His personality is probably twice as big as he is. This kid is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. He will be torturing his sister one minute and giving her a hug and everything she wants the next.
Lately he is also very fashion conscious. He's started to tell us that he wants to wear a certain outfit or particular shoes when we go out. I'm sure it's all my fault, but this kid loves to look good. And Beau, a word of advice, a suit always looks good. 😘 #bennetttriplets
