This morning I was talking to someone who told me they ate a heap of chocolate last night 🍫
In the space of about 2 minutes she said “it was so bad... I’m so bad... I feel so bad...” 😩😫😖
This is EXACTLY why I preach that there is no such thing as good and bad foods, and that we shouldn’t eliminate any foods from our diet or go on super restrictive diets 🙅🏼♀️
Turn on the news and you’ll see crime, terrorism, shootings... these things are BAD! Eating a few too many rows of Cadbury?! NOT THAT “BAD”! 💁🏼♀️
Eating a couple of extra rows of chocolate isn’t the problem, it’s the mental affects that follow this that are doing the damage! 🤦🏼♀️
If you’re someone who sees food as “good and bad” and goes on super restrictive diets, only to end up on a super binge, why not try including these foods in controlled portions into your daily eating when you want too?! 🤗
Eating chocolate isn’t “cheating” on your diet if chocolate is included in your diet in the first place! 😉

Not feeling super lean after this weekends shenanigans 🤷🏽♀️ but I sure as hell had fun 🍀🎉 Jumped right to it today with high intensity treadmill intervals followed by a short, low impact, full body HIIT🏃🏽♀️

This is Toblerone icecream cake. First layer is layered with crunch chocolate and bottom layer is pretty much Toblerone and mid layer is icecream. And taste? I won't say much about it cause we all know it's gonna be good😍

I follow IIFYM protocols when it comes to my nutrition and this allows me to eat whatever I want and still reach my goals. No food is off limits, no good and no bad. Some just more calorie dense then the other. As long as you are eating from a variety of food groups, whole foods are your main choices and your hitting the targets. You are in control! 🙌🏽

Have you really tried everything? I once thought I had tried everything to ‘get lean’, and it turned into a full blown eating disorder because I was getting nowhere, and getting too frustrated. One day I just decided that I didn’t want that life anymore and I did the complete opposite of what I was trying to do - I got a coach and started a reverse diet. From low calories to almost double increasing and monitoring over time, I now feel completely satisfied because I have so much room to eat for performance (and happiness) - and actually build a foundation for the results I want. Work smarter, not harder. If you don’t know wtf to do then hire someone who does and get some results. Simple 🤷🏼♀️ PS: Booty gains.

Meet Desiree! Before Desiree came to me, she'd tried other gyms & diet programs. Nothing seemed to work, or show her results that lasted. Every failed attempt just left her feeling more defeated & hopeless every time. She had struggled her whole life with disordered eating, a bad relationship with food & the scale, & body image struggles. giving one last toe-point in nyc and we outta here. Usually I leave trips all down and prematurely nostalgic, but this trip just motivated me and made me realize how much I am ready to get home and get back to the grind. ~ PEAK WEEK ~ is upon us. All the feels, man. I have wanted this for so long. I have fought through gut health issues, bad body image, binging and an unhealthy relationship with food, bad coaches, parents who don’t understand, friends that don’t get it, self-doubt, and maintaining my grades as an honors double major.
I’ve wanted this for SO long. I’ve attempted once before and failed. I’ve watched all my friends do it. Y’all, I’ve been So. Dang. Patient. I’ve learned to trust His perfect timing. It’s finally MY time. No matter the outcome, I am just proud of all the personal growth this sport has brought me. It’s taught me to never give up, to find my strength only in God, and that I am beautifully and wonderfully made. I’m a damn hard worker and I am SO ready for this. ❤️✨
