I’ve been mentally torturing myself because I’m 10lbs heavier than I was last year. 10lbs that has been tormenting me in all my “1 year ago” posts. 🤦🏼♀️ saying it out loud sounds so dumb. That’s nothing. I’m still healthy and fit. -
But making myself miserable mentally has been leaking out into other aspects of my life and I have GOT TO STOP.
I’m sure you’ve all been there too. So stop. You’re enough. You’re you, and that is enough. You’re no less than the person next to you. You’re beautiful. -

Wow did it feel good to get back in the gym after taking four days off🤗 I remember just 2 or 3 years ago taking more than a day off from the gym would make me anxious, and I felt like I would lose all my progress. These thoughts took away from vacations and spending time with the people I love. I’m proud of how far I’ve come mentally and being able to balance the rest of my life and fitness. If you’re struggling with this, I am here to tell you that it will be ok. It is good to take time off from the gym. You will not lose all your progress.
Late night post just to let you know that I’m still alive and working out (although I didn’t go today). I just can’t take photos during the week due to the gym being over crowded and Paul (the boyfriend) thinking it’s weird and embarrassing 😂🤦🏼♀️

Inspired by @natacha.oceane because she’s a workout queen so I tried this today and it was fun, worked the whole body, kept my heart rate up, AMAZING 🤩 save it and try it on your next full body day!! Full sets and reps below ⤵️

🌟 pike press ups 4x8 (or kneeling pushups if they are hard!)

For those who don’t know much about the complete proteins, in order to be considered complete, a protein must contain all nine of the essential amino acids to build and repair tissues in the body.
Animal proteins are complete meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy.
Plant based complete proteins include quinoa, buckwheat, hemp seed, and soy beans.
To get more of a variety of complete proteins try combining incomplete proteins such as: * Nuts or seeds w/ whole grains (peanut butter & toast)
* Whole grains & Legumes (rice & beans) .
By doing this you are making it easier to have different options of complete vegan proteins with of all the essential amino acids necessary for the body.

3/20/2019. I was given the hardest battle of my life when I was in high school; a battle with an eating disorder. I am proud to say that I won that battle and am healthier now than I’ve ever been. I won that battle because I gave it every bit of blood, sweat, and tears I had to. I remember all of the negative thoughts about my body that used to swarm my mind. I remember being terrified of the scale. I remember the restriction that lead to binges. Yes, I remember it all BUT not in a negative way. I look back at those times and remind myself how damn strong I am for overcoming it all. Food does not control me anymore. The scale does not phase me anymore because I’m so proud of me and my body that that little number in a rectangle is just a number to me. I am not defined by my body. Being society’s “picture perfect” version of a woman doesn’t make me beautiful. What makes me beautiful has nothing to do with my appearance and everything to do with my soul. What defines me is how I make others feel and how I love. By loving my true self and my body, I’ve gotten to where I am today & I’m only going up from here. It took every part of me to be here with this confidence & strength. There were times where I felt like giving up and losing hope, but I didn’t and I’m so proud of that. I’m not telling you this to get a round of applause. I’m telling you this because I want you to know there is hope and the fight is worth it. You deserve to love yourself, your true self. YOU are beautiful just simply because you are YOU and nobody else. Cherish yourself and your life & never lose hope for the future. You are not alone, ever 💙 I remember reading on the internet when I was in high school that there was no cure for an eating disorder. Well, screw that because there is. We, ourselves, are the cure.

given my unfortunate incident yesterday, my left hand is basically out of commission for the next couple weeks so my workouts will be pretty simple and short in order to let my body heal and recover properly 👍🏼👍🏼today was spent on the treadmill for some short but effective cardio!

I typically train my abs every other workout. These ab workouts will have your muscles on fire I promise you. These workouts target your lower abdomen and your love handles. They will help tone your core🙌🏾. . Another big part to toning your core is going to be your DIET!! which is the hardest part in my opinion ( since I love food so much)😹 if you do these workouts without watching your diet it is going to be hard to see results. So try and find healthy but yummy option to your diet to help get those abs!
